...God bless the Queen Mum. Her inspiring bravery, loyalty, and dedication to her husand and children during the war were inspirational....Very true, B-Chan. She's been a model of grace and dignity all her life.

I trust the middle F is for the Royals ... hehehe...

...all men, from the greatest to the most humble, the best to the worst, are eventually called before God's judgement seat. Charity demands that we do no less for them than we would want for ourselves and pray for God's mercy on them....

..I trust the middle F is for the Royals ... hehehe...No, bozo.
You got that wrong, too.

Although I agree with you and others on this thread that it is the height of ill manners to be attacking British royalty
at this time, on this thread, I must take exception to this statement:
Since 1812, we have NOT been at odds with each other, BTW.
You do know, don't you, that England sided with the Confederacy and was quite active in hoping for the downfall of the Republic?

Thanks for the link.
Mad Cow disease is the result of a curse on Britain? Best laugh I've had this week!

PC/ Socialist England ? You resent another country, when we have just lived through 8 long , weary years of that and worse, AND it was the USA which has exported PC all over the world ? Grow a brain !
You're right about that! Our newspapers used to enjoy poking fun at the latest PC stuff from the US during the Clinton years and bemoan the fact that it was leaking over the Atlantic into British society.

Please forgive me How dare a mere commoner like myself be critical of my royal masters.
I guess some Americans just don't understand that these superior beings are the true master race.
Each and every one hand picked by God Himself.
One day I hope we will be as enlightened as our betters in the socialist cesspools of england, canada and australia.
I look forward to turning in my guns, paying very high taxes and not having a Bill of Rights.
Oh, what a mistake our Founding Fathers made to rebel against these divine rulers.
Well.... maybe not
Where's a Guillotine when you need one?

Just joking about the guillotine

Such a shame something originally posted as a prayer thread for a possibly dying old lady who's just lost her daughter, has turned into this bilge.
Prayer threads for sick people crop up on FR all the time. Can we expect you to trash those, too?

..how dare a mere commoner like myself be critical of my royal masters...Criticism's fine.
It's your class envy I'm addressing. And by that, I don't mean the Royal Family's higher social strata.
I mean they have class, and you don't.

...Just joking about the guillotine...Hilarious.
Almost as funny as Joanie Loves Chachi.
To: Byron_the_Aussie
Any insult from a defender of royalty, I take as a complement
Thank You

It's also humorous (ironic?) to note that the roots of conservatism are in aristocracy. Indeed, the republican form of government rejects the concept of plebiscite democracy, since the people show so little evidence of being able to rule themselves. That false egalitarianism gave rise to the Terror. In this country, it's just taking a little longer.

I'm sure she's a nice old broad, but if I'm going to spend any time praying for a brit, it will be for Maggie Thatcher and/or any of our brit Freepers.
Frankly, there are too many people who are of much more importance/relevance to think about right now.
