Highway Patrol Investigates Attempted Hijacking Of Oil Truck In Nash Co.Authorities are on the lookout for two men suspected of trying to hijack an oil truck in Nash County early Wednesday morning.
The Highway Patrol said that the incident took place along Highway 264 near Interstate 95 around 6:40 a.m.
The driver of the oil truck reportedly stopped to alert authorities at a Bojangle's restaurant in Wilson County.
The Highway Patrol described the suspects as being of Middle Eastern descent. They were last seen driving eastbound in either a bronze or copper-colored Dodge Neon. The car has New Jersey license plates; the registration is unknown.
The Highway Patrol said that the men should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
