Actually, most muslims don't give a flying fook - I think you'll find plenty of the faithful who are happy to drink, watch MTV (or in your obvious case Sky), etc. Perhaps they have different reasons and motivations which don't necessarily lead to the sort of blood lust you've worked yourself into?

In the Middle East? Are you insane? For God's sake a good portion of that portion of the earth isn't even touched by paved roads for God's sake. And even so, religious fanaticism still touches those who have experience of the West, like Osama - they found our "decadence" appalling, rejected it, and indeed declared war on it. Nothing you say disproves this revulsion that the Islamic world has for our way of life, nor the inherent mission in Islam to "convert" through "jihad".

By this statement alone you prove you cannot possibly have a serious foundation for your beliefs, such as they are.

Which actually includes Dubya, doesn't it?

The American President is less harsh than I am; he believes that Islam is a religion of peace, in spite of a history of blood and violence that proves otherwise. Again, you really have a problem with that attention span of yours when it comes to facts.

Oooh I'm parping myself in fear!! bin Laden is *not* representative of the muslim world, as most sane recognise (BTW, you're excused), both in Europe and in the USA. You just keep fuelling your paranoid fantasies, and the rest of will get on with understanding life as an intricate mechanism, rather than one of Ronnie Raygun's movies.

You forgot the plans that Osama's henchmen laid to hit Big Ben and Canary Wharf. Or don't you ever go to those places.

From a man who's thicker than a plank, that's quite funny. You do not speak for most British people, that's for sure, just the 50 or so Brits who agree with you on your site

Idiot. I already pointed out the Mirror poll in which your side had their heads handed to them on a platter. It is a naive fantasy of you Grauniad reading fools that you actually think the country is on your side. Blair knows better - he had to talk conservative in order to win elections because Britain is essentially a conservative country at its heart. No matter the wet dreams of the Guardian editorial board and their attendant Hampsteadite elitist fools.

By the way, given the agenda you socialists have, I guess I shouldn't be really all that surprised - you want to destroy Britain anyway. After all you you want us to join the Euro, sign up for every piece of integrationist idiocy that comes out of Brussels, and be run by foreign bureaucrats. Of course you're the same people who said Tony Martin didn't have the right to defend himself, that the people who refused to use the metric system should be fined, and want us all to carry national ID cards (your papers please, comrade). No wonder you're not exercised by the thought of anyone attacking the country - you're in the process of degrading it, chopping it up and sending it piecemeal to Brussels.

Much as you deride it, most muslims aren't the religious nutters you wish them to be. As for their finding western civilisation "decadent", well, I think you'd find plenty of people in the western world who wouldn't demur too much from that view

You're just saying this without anything to back it up. Would you like to discuss the Wahabbis in Saudi Arabia? The present Islamic regime in Iran? And indeed the Taliban regime? And if you need proof about the Taliban, look at www.rawa.org. And keep in mind, Al Qaeda locked in on the Taliban as being the "perfect" Islamic state.

My argument as well was not to kill all Muslims. Look at what I said, it was to kill the terrorists. But you don't want to do that.

As for the rest of your vile posts, just more socialist crap - we've come to expect it from you lot, rather than dealing with the content (and indeed the charges), hoping that being glib (I won't use the words "using spin" as you're not expert enough to be said to be doing that yet) will carry the day. Typical, brainless Guardian socialist - anything outside their world-view causes an immediate shutdown and a descent into feral behaviour.

I understand your feelings here but it wasn't just the WTC... last time I checked the Europeans had coralled some plotters who were going after not just US targets in Europe, but also NATO headquarters and the Hague, and sites in Rome, probably the Vatican among them. Also, not just US embassies but also British ones, if I'm not mistaken. Fortunately those folks were caught.

Like it or not, Europeans are targets, if only secondary ones.

If we weren't here, they'd be picking ya'all off too, one country at a time, just because you're not muslim and your interests will collide with theirs sooner or later. We just stick in their craw better than you do because we are the biggest and most immediate obstacle they face in carrying out their agenda of creating an Islamic 'Third Reich.' The US politicos in WW2's early beginnings were playing a similar role Europe's are today... offering support for lend-lease but not much else, and some citizens were even offering moral support to Germany, trying to get the US to 'understand' the German point of view with regard to the unsettling news of what was Germany's real agenda. Germany was all the rage for a while, particularly when Hitler and Stalin were best of buddies and so found approval among American marxist intellectuals, not unlike the radical Islamics' finding of open and understanding arms among some European elite.

Much as you deride it, most muslims aren't the religious nutters you wish them to be.

If it makes you feel better, I don't believe MOST muslims are bad. I think the figure of nutjobs to regular Muhammed-Six-Packs is propably around 20% if that. I think a good many more of them will go along, though, because they have to live with the ones that are genuinely extreme. They will go along because if they don't, they'll be slaughtered just like so many Afghans were being slaughtered or mutilated every day. That sort of slaughter will continue until the apathetic among them are willing able to fight back, or until someone else puts a stop to the insanity by force. Nothing short of that will stop thugs from being thugs.

But let's put this in perspective for you.

The American Revolution was carried out with something like 20-25% of the colonials in support. It was not a majority by any stretch of the imagination. It was a MINORITY of extremists, one might say- though suicide bombing and hostage-taking and mass murder wasn't our style.

From that MINORITY a nation was formed which over time saw world power after world power fall by the wayside. "Broken thrones and fallen empires mark the roads that we have paved," as one American put it. That MINORITY of people (and we're not talking about even a million) created the world power known as the United States, and that status looks like it won't be challenged for the time being. The whole world pretty much has to sit under our kind of tree until someone else pulls us down or someone else's tree outgrows ours, or Heaven forbid, our tree gets girdled outright by a domestic vandal or a foreign one. You have to watch while we fight, and ASK us not to do this or that, because there really isn't a darn thing you can do to MAKE us do anything, or to PREVENT us from doing anything, other than to persuade us with words or to get off of your own butts and start tending to your own security.

Why do you have to sit under our tree? Because you LET a minority of people wrest this country from you in the first place, then over time LET this minority grow into a big power, scattering its seed everywhere, while all of you squabbled amongst yourselves about who was the world power of the day. And over time you LET the US take over a little more of what you formerly did for yourselves. We took responsibility after responsibility off of your shoulders, because you LET us do the protecting, LET us do the feeding, and LET our culture expand its influence until there isn't a country on earth that doesn't know American business, American slang, American music, or ignore American policy. You grump about how we somehow IMPOSED our culture on you, when in fact you sucked it up like a thirsty sponge, and now you use a decadent American internet concept to kvetch about decadent Americans.

Not bad for a political movement which began as a minority of 25%, eh?

Don't underestimate any political movement that shoots at you or your friends. It really is a bad idea to get that complacent, while your culture gets effectively swallowed by yet another radical political group with political ambitions.

This new radical group may be a minority but it won't be adding Coca Cola, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and McDonald's to your menu. It will be telling you what you can and cannot eat.

It will not impose Pax Americana, it will impose sharia law.

This new 'minority' of radicals among the muslim immigrants won't be protecting your butts. It will be blowing up your churches and your cultural heritage.

Its troops won't be buying your products when they go out on the town. They'll be breaking your store windows and stealing your goods, or blowing themseves up in your malls and town centers.

This 'small group' of radicals won't be offending you with annoying hip-hop, country-western, or rap music. It will be calling you come to prayer five times a day or it will slit your throat if you don't comply.

The empire it becomes will feed on your blood, not exchange goods with you.

The political force they become won't be "decadent," it won't produce wealth nor will it spin off discovery after discovery in health care, contsruction, agriculture and communications. Instead it will put intellectuals to flight or to the sword, and silence the voices who plead for mercy. And while they impose an austere life on you, their elite, like Mullah Omar and the Wahabbists, will have the very best his feudalized society can offer.

You can choose how decadent OR how devout you want to be with America walking the beat. You can choose how decadent or how devout you want to be if YOU walk your own beat. Even muslims can worship in peace, with us or with you. But under this 'minority' of radicals, you won't have a choice between being decadent or austere, because they trade in misery. Do not ever underestimate a few determined and ambitious men.
