Check it out! Dick Morris is telling Greta Van Sustern that "She has no idea what she is talking about."
On terrorism, Clinton looked the other way, according to Morris. When Van Sustern objected, Morris snapped: "I was there, you weren't."
Morris to Van Sustern: "You are still a CNN person."
WANNA SEE IT!
MUST SEE IT!
Attention Fox News!!! REPLAY THE DAMN VIDEO!!!!!!!!! WE WANT VIDEO REPLAY----NOT GRETA SPIN!!!!
I can stomach Alan Colmes because he seems to be sincere in his beliefs (except when he gets into his whiney "they do it, too" mode). And he will say when he agrees with a conservative view. I have never seen him go after someone like Greta tried to do last night.
FOX has made a big mistake to put this Clinton apologist in this slot, unless the idea is to continually provoke everyone center and right, and thus propel ratings, but I don't believe that is a long-term winning strategy. People will just change the channel after awhile.
Dear Foxnews,
After watching van Susteren repetitively sputter her way through the interview with Dick Morris, spouting biased reports from the New York Times as fact, and simply being an overall Clinton apologist and rumpswab, the believe the show ought to be renamed "Broken Record," given the stream of pro-Clinton spin and half facts dominating her questioning.
Clearly, Morris' remark that "you are still a CNN person" hit squarely on the mark. Her style isn't "confrontational," it is confused and misinformed. This is demonstrated from the very beginning and throughout the interview, where she desperately and unsuccessfully tries discredit his opinion by attempting to establish that Morris was not privy to the facts of Clinton's inaction. As he said, he was there, she wasn't, and as such, he has all the credibility.
Van Susteren desperately needs a conservative co-host to balance her extreme left wing perspective. Use the Hannity and Colmes show as a model. It works.
As the show stands, in my honest opinion, she sucks. Send her back to CNN and give Alan Keyes her time slot. His intellect and style makes van Susteren look like a freshman high school girl on her first day on the debate team.
Sincerely,
SpinyNorman
Thanks for the heads up. I just watched the tape of the rebroadcast.
One funny thing was Van Sustern treating the Clinton administration as if it were more than a political machine. She kept saying that Morris wasn't in the loop, but Clinton actually made policy based mostly on polling and political considerations, not the merits.
Clinton did not meet once alone with Sandy Berger in his first two years. You can bet that Clinton had many more one-on-one discussions about terrorism with Dick Morris than he did with Sandy Berger. Clinton didn't make policy, he made politics.
Of what possible use could Sandy Berger be to Clinton with his view of the presidency?
YOU replay (the video), WE decide!
I just didn't think it was fair for Greta to deliver her SPIN of the interview this morning WITHOUT us being able to view the video replay. What's the matter, Greta? Afraid of letting US decide????
The anger probably came from continualy being cut off in mid-sentence. It's hard to have a civil discussion with someone when one party keeps talking over you or cutting you off before you have had time to finish your point.
