I don't see why we don't paper the place with strategic nukes.

The last thing we need in the Middle East -- or Africa, for that matter -- is a bunch of third worlders blocking the access of Developed Nations to those natural resources they consider a matter of vital importance to national defense.

and Guy Tozzoli, an engineer who helped design the World Trade Centre

I missed this first time around.

Anyone have a guess as to the "peace" angle here?

Only Communists (Gorbachev, when Reagan actually deserved it), or hard-over Socialists, seem to get the Nobel Peace Prize these days.

But there's a new leader in town who's teaching them the right way. Not through satanic political correctness, but through time proven wisdom. Terrorism is murder, and Bush is saving lives.

When President Bush made his first statement, I thanked God that Al Gore was not at the helm, that we were being led by a strong man, a christian man. The President's speech on the 20th brought me assurances that this terror would be dealt with decisively and with dogged determination. My panic was replaced an inner peace thanks to our great President - he gets my peace prize.

God Bless President Bush.

Last night, one of the most yellow of Democrat dogs I know, admitted that Bush is doing a great job against terrorism and he's glad that Bush won the election.

I never thought I'd hear those words from the person who said them. There is hope.

Martin Luther King would have been a good canidate if the Black community had heard a word he said. Instead, they followed Jessie Jackson, and declared war on the world.

Mother Terisa helped many under her care, but like the pope, talked. No one listened there either, and certainly not the homo priests in the catholic church.

Then there's Bush and Blair. They're trying to rid the world of mass murderers. Gee, I think we have a couple of winners here!

Thanks for the comment, but don't bet that the Clintons were told. The person that handed that note to them would draw back a stump. LOL

But to even suggest that Bush has had any relationship to peace is a laughable thought.

Al-Qaeda has been pretty peaceful since he bombed the crap out of them.

My brother in laws girlfriend shared these same feelings with me. She told me that she had to admit she didn't vote for President Bush. That when 9-11 happened it scared her very much. She called her 2 sons in New Mexico and to this day won't even think of getting on an airplane. But through all of this she looks forward to seeing President Bush address the nation because he is so confident, brave and represents a calming tone to her. These feelings started immediately with the first speech to the nation after the tragedy. He gives her a peace about things she otherwise would never have. She is so relieved that he is our President.

Well the peace prize IS a joke and rest assured GWB wouldn't receive it. If he did it would be a sea change he is doing more to promote peace than anyone else on the world stage.

The best part is the jealously, rage and himiliation felt by the Rapist who lusted after the Nobel Peace Prize, espically when GW could probably give a rats ass!!!!

LOL

How do you deserve a joke prize? If it's that, maybe YOU would believe they deserve it.
