Going to say this. It beats the hell out of sugar-coated pop crap. I'd much rather hear them than Britney, or N'Sync or any of the other wannabe "singers" that are out there. I don't always like their politics, but they're doing this one right.

I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name
I want to feel sunlight on my face
I see the dust cloud disappear
Without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
The city's aflood
And our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled in dust
I'll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
Our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, and I see love
See our love turn to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do

I wonder if the contrast was intentional...the streets have no name, but the PEOPLE do.

Wow, they even pulled off a killer half-time show! I was bawling my eyes out. Unbelievable, unbeatable, perfect.
Don't look now, but this is shaping up to be the best ever. Rams will roar back, could see a finish to rival the Giants/Bills and Titans/Rams.
Bask in the glow, we are the envy of the world. The 21st century has finally started.
To: Dales
Ooops. Well they're all from the UK. Close enuff.

Radio guys saying no Super Bowl team has been behind by double digets at halftime and have come back to win. Hope tradition holds. Go Pats!!

I hate Bono's politics as much as anybody else here. But I must admit to being a huge fan of this band U2. Since their debut in 1980, I have seen them in concert four times and never get tired of their music. It's a shame though that we couldn't find some American bands for the Super Bowl. I would have liked to see Charlie Daniels Band and George Thorogood. They would have rocked the place to its foundation.
