I remember seeing an AP story about some statements made by North Korea, this was at least a year ago. The North Korean government said that the US would be defeated completely and totally in war very shortly, that was a year ago when they said that. It was as if they were predicting WMD's being used against the US on a massive scale, that was the nature of their statement. There's been over a million north koreans starve to death in the last few years, they make these statements and we are the villains if our pres says anything. I can't for the life of me see why the Europeans or anyone else would care if we go into north korea and kick some ass.

If France had an insane leader and created a situation where a million frenchmen died, then would enlightened opinion in europe want the cowboy to ride in to the rescue? Of course they would, all they can think of is themselves. When it is some slanty-eyed people being destroyed, then they sing a different tune.

"Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright also condemned the "axis of evil" speech, calling it a "big mistake". ... That warning risked alienating foreign allies she said."

Mad Madeleine strikes again. This is the SAME woman who urged the U.S. to side with the Mujahedeen terrorists that bombed our embassies in Africa. This woman urged the U.S. to join the KLA in fighting the Serbs in Kosovo in 1999.

The Serbs, who were our ALLY since 1917. Yup, old Mad Maddie wanted us to ATTACK our World War 1 ally.

And now she criticizes President Bush for wanting to fight terrorists because it MIGHT alienate some of our allies?!

That old hag has got to go back into retirement. The pasture is calling her. The green grass beckons her.

And no sane person needs to hear her banal opinions ever again.

Mad Alldim should shut up and not draw attention to the fact that the feckless policy she (and her besotted leader) pursued for eight years, directly led to the strengthening of the terrorist forces, which resulted in the 911 attack.

As Secretary Rumsfeld has pointed out, the best defense, currently, is a good offense. Let these scumbag terrorists and political tyrants sweat, not knowing where or how the next attack will come. Will it be a daisy cutter, a squad of special forces, a couple of divisions of airborne, or a "colleague" intrigued by the idea of taking a new direction? Meanwhile, we develop the intel, NMD, and space based weapon systems to constitute a true defense. Bush is brilliant. By the time the rest of the world catches up, we will have remade the international structure to protect ourselves...BIG TIME.

Wonder if Powell is going to wind up in the woodshed before this is all over?

He hasn't exactly been aligning himself with the rest of the Administration.

I guess Albright is still mad that the British ruined a perfectly successful Munich Conference by declaring war on Germany.

Does all this remind anyone of what Ronaldus Maximus faced for his tough talk in the 80s? From Mondale and the Nuclear Freezers, to the protesters who pelted our bombers with lamb's blood in Europe. Now the same appeasing scoundrels within America and our feckless Euro "allies" are at it again.

As usual, history will prove vigilance always wins the day. God bless Mr. Bush.

Oh, now THERE'S a surprise!

She said many in the international community believed the US h "lost its mind" because of the way Mr Bush handled foreign policy.

<sarcasm> I'm sure they miss the steady hand of Bill "Let's see, what should our policy be this week?" Clinton.</sarcasm>

Good for President Bush (And McCain too)! It's time to clean out these nests of vipers. Does it occur to anyone else that George Bush just may wind up being a truly great president - one for the history books, in the tradition of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Reagan?

Sounds exactly like what the Left said about Ronald Reagan's "Evil Empire" speech.

How soon the Left forgets their vision of the late, great, U.S.S.R. that Western leaders had to appease unless they had "lost their minds".

Undaunted by the strength of the reaction in the Middle East to his speech, Mr Bush reiterated his accusations against the three countries and warned that Washington was ready to act. He said all three nations were developing weapons of mass destruction. "They need to know our intention is to hold them accountable and the rest of the world needs to be with us, because these weapons can be pointed at them as easily as at us," he said. Iran, which Washington describes as the main state sponsor of terror ism, called Mr Bush -thirsty for human blood", while the Iraqi regime of Sad Hussein branded him "stupid, arrogant and irresponsible".

What ba**s he has and how PROUD I am to call George W. Bush MY President!

That French embassy guy that called Belgium (?) a "shi**y little country" wouldn't have caught any flak if he'd said the same about North Korea!

Evil Empire’s War Talk

Excerpt:

WASHINGTON: North Korea yesterday blustered that it was on the brink of war with the US after President George W. Bush renewed his attacks on the "axis of evil" of so-called rogue states.

Mr Bush again labelled Iran, Iraq and North Korea the world's most dangerous regimes, warning they could face US action and prompting speculation about where the war on terror would lead after Afghanistan.

His warning, raised first in his State of the Nation address on Tuesday, drew an angry reaction from Muslim countries throughout the Middle East. But the most blunt message response came from North Korea. A spokesman for strongman Kim Jong Il said the nation was ready for war and had been wise to develop "powerful offensive and defensive means". We are sharply watching the disturbing moves of the United States that have pushed the situation to the brink of war," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

As the secretive communist regime's propaganda machine went into overdrive, North Korean state media said US warplanes had carried out scores of reconnaissance flights in recent weeks in preparation for an attack. The spokesman said Mr Bush's speech was "little short of declaring a war".

Former secretary o state Madeleine Albrigh[t] also condemned the "axis of evil" speech, calling it "big mistake". She said many in the international community believed the US h "lost its mind" because of the way Mr Bush handled foreign policy. "I think it was a big mistake to lump those three countries together," she said.

I am PROUD to call George W. Bush MY President!
Madeleine not-so-Bright should have her face slapped for not keeping her big mouth shut, IMHO!

SOME BACKGROUND ON N.KOREA

I have been monitoring the North Korean newspapers for some time now. They have NEVER taken a positive US stance. In fact, even when Clinton provided the two Nuclear Reactors to them, they still maintained a very harsh anti-American stance.

The statements by Ms Albright can only be taken at their face value as accurace - if you base you conclusion that North Korea's most recent statements are a direct result of Mr. Bushe's statements. But this cannot be done, as it is not true. The North Koreans have not altered their stance at all.

Ms,. Albright should know this, as should the media. Because of the lack of background on this matter, the impression that the Media provides is that countries such as North Korea is reacting harshly to his speech. This is so far from the truth that believing the words of Ms. Albright is exceptionally insane and foolhardy.

It is OK to want peace. It is OK to brand a person as to creating a war stance. But it is not OK to make accusations without the proper research.

The President made the statements that he did because of recient intelligence data that indicated that the North Korean government is a hositle state that has missile technology and that it has provided support and training to terrorist elements. He is not going to pretend like Clintons did that this is not occuring. He is being straight up and truthful. The truth hurts, but it is the truth never-the-less.

You may disagree with me. That is OK too.

But do your homework. Use actual facts to back up your statement. Stop acting like one of the Liberal elite whom have no data to back up their statements. Instead they have been known to do one of two things. They either make up false data, or misleading data. Or, they have been known to shrug off the facts through complicated sentence constructions.

In summary, the only point that I am making at this time is that The President is accurate in what he stated to the American Public, and that the reaction of Ms. Albright is Political in nature because the North Korean Press has not altered their stance as a result of the speech.

Mr. Powell, Osama has billions of dollars yet he bombed the World Trade center. Now try another leftist propaganda trick on me.
