FReeper milagro posted on America the Right Way.. today, that her husband, 1John, died yesterday of a massive heart attack.

John was a fine man, who loved the Lord, his wife, and his country.
He had served in the military, and has a son in the military now.

Please keep milagro & the family in prayer.

This is such a shock to her, and completely unexpected.

Please let her know you are praying for her.

She told me John would be honored knowing he was mentioned on the Forum......as they both love Free Republic.

Losss can hurt so deeply . . . given the times we are in, it may yet look like "only" a "brief" time apart. Thanks to God and our Savior, we have THAT BLESSED HOPE. . . demonstrated by Christ's Resurrection.

May Jesus wipe each tear and hug each shoulder and heart.

Milagro, we will miss IJohn. He was a gentleman, and a true patriot. His work and his faithfulness are being rewarded as we speak, as he basks in the glow of the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is safe with Him. And you will join him again, one glorious day.

Though in this world, Jesus said we would have tribulation, He encourages you to be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world. As certainly as Christ is risen, so too is the certainty that your husband is redeemed. Praise be to our Savior.

1John has provided many insightful comments in this forum and kept God's children focused on His love and assurances for us. If 1John were posting to a thread such as this, or posting to you personally regarding your loss, he would be giving you God's assurances even as God assures us in and though His Word.

I remember seeing posts by 1John.. and also milagro. I'm so so sorry. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling. I just can't imagine it... when I try.. when I imagine it being me.. and losing my best friend and love. I hurt so bad for you.

((((((Milagro))))))) as a fellow Christian,. I can only assure you that your grief is totally understood. Not only by God.. but Jesus gave us "examples" of how it was ok to grieve (Lazarus) and then assurance that he would raise us up (Lazarus).

May the Holy Spirit comfort you. May He give you the peace that only God can provide.
