JohnRob can, in about 15 seconds, program "rightwingnuts.com" to redirect itself right back to democrats.com, or simply to refuse to load at all, if he so chooses. They can sign up for all the domain names they want and point them anywhere they want, but the receiving site has the final say on whether to accept the traffic.

Of course, this is so childish and silly on the Bush-haters' parts that it's not even worth those 15 seconds' of JohnRob's time. Who cares.

The worst part is, the little RATS think this name-calling is really clever and witty. Then again, what can you expect from people who think molly ivens is funny?

By the way...

Some Web surfers might confuse Democrats.com with the official site of the Democratic National Committee, as their addresses differ only in suffix. The DNC's homepage is Democrats.org. The DNC refused comment about what Democrats.com was doing, except to say, "We have no control over this website."

Freepers have more than once precisely deliniated the paper trail directly connecting Democrats.com to the DNC. They're about as "unconnected" as G. Gordon Liddy was to the Nixon White House.

Obviously, the "right" to be "offended" that the Democrats are so concerned about for themselves doesn't extend to anyone with differing political ideas.

Good illustration of Democratic "tolerance."

Ann Coulter, another weekly columnist for WND, doesn't appear bothered by the rightwingcrazies.com label.

"I'm delighted Democrats are reading my column!" she said. "I just hope their lips don't get tired."

What, they kiss the computer screen too everytime her picture comes up?

I actually know of a place that for just 10 bucks you can buy a domain name and we can do the same things the libs are doing.

Back in 2000, I could never remember the official URL of the official Bush campaign site (many likely-sounding URL's went to other sites). But someone was kind enough to make www.bushbites.com point to the real one, so I just used that.

I've lately been wondering if we should do the same thing. Services like register.com allow you to redirect registered domain names to the appropriate IP addresses.

Everyone please note these folks are claiming to need to reclaim the English language and using this as the justification for their behavior.

Now repeat after me and remember, anytime you hear a liberal accuse their opponent of some type of underhanded activity such as abusing the English language, be certain the liberals have perfected the underhanded activity long ago and their opponent hasn't even passed the 101 version yet.

This is so stupid. Two things here:

1. They are paying money, small sum but still money, for an extremely childish prank. Great use of resources. Considering #2 below, it can be said they are spending money counter to their own goals.

2. So whats the first thing YOU do when someone mentions a website address that might be of interest? How many of you typed (or cut and pasted) the addresses in to check it out?

Finding anything on the net (if your not net-aware) is difficult. Giving a website higher visiblilty by creating a story such as this is very stupid. I can see the headline now "Petty political squabble breaks out in cyberspace", since its democrats making fun of conservatives, it'll be picked up everywhere, the lib media just loves these types of stories. This is "Human Interest" fluff. People will see this on TV or in the newspaper and become curious. The conservative sites that were "targeted" will get a few more firs time visitors which may lead to repeat visitors, which eventually leads to converts.

As anyone in the Web Business knows, the 2nd hardest thing to do with a website is get traffic, the first being getting that same traffic back. Giving the conservative sites ANY publicity is extremely stupid, nevermind having to pay for it. Unless your aim is to shut down a site by shaming the ISP, as we've seen in the past, the best thing you can do is ignore it an hope no one finds it, especially the Democrats, they cant argue with us, they cant argue with common sense and good humor, sending anyone to Ann Coulter to somehow color the party as bad is crazy. The absolute last thing the democrats should want is more people travelling to conservative sites. This is Marketing 101.

This story needs to get out more. It might even be beneficial to have someone (WND maybe) threaten a lawsuit, just for shits and giggles.
