I once camped out overnight waiting for tickets to a Cindy Lauper concert when I was in my early 20s and had dropped out of college and living on my own! Not that I liked Cindy Lauper that much, but it sounded like fun and it really was a lot of fun.

If I were that age and in that same situation now, I would definitly camp out for TTT. I can just imagine the cameraderie would be fantastic. If you were with me, we could sit and while the time away playing chess! Not for more than a 24 hour period though...

Now, if it were TTT that they were camped out for, I'd have much more sympathy for them....

I'll be in line for the midnight showing of TT, at least, and my sisters will be with me. They're hunting for, um, elf-ears already. Perhaps we can persuade our father, not sure about Mom - she's very uncertain about this whole Tolkien thing, and staying up until really wee hours of the morning might not be on her list of "fun things to do this Christmastime." How about you? Any Two Towers plans yet? Or is ten months too long a time?
