Remarkable decision given the attitudes in Hollywood.

"An actor with morals and conviction. Amazing. I hope it lasts."

Me too. Sounds like it will though if he gets too moral, he will not find work. I hope he becomes a big, big star a la Brad Pitt. BTW, welcome to FreeRepublic. This is a special place...

But he's not thrilled with the message - that vengeance can be exacted without paying the ultimate price.

Is it vengence or justice?

There aren't many women who can resist the pressure to strip. I think it must be tougher for them.

Obviously, the reporter is trying to portray Caviezel as an uptight hypocrite. Unless he makes it really big, she'll probably get away with it.

Don't worry, Disney will have him corrupted before long.

My excitement at hearing that one of the best stories of all time, Count of Monte Cristo, is coming to the theatres was immediately dashed upon reading that Disney is doing it.

They will feminize, homosexualize, animal rights-ize, and anti-white male-ize this story.

>>>Lopez can't sing or act,

I agree she can't act. I don't think I've ever heard her sing, but I wouldn't have expected much.

>>>>I don't understand the attention this low life gets.

Well, I may not agree with it but I think the reasons are rather obvious, and she tries hard to keep them that way.

Well? To a small degree, I'm not sure she isn't right. I'm not going to slam the guy. He is obviously a breath of fresh air compared to most of hollywood. But compare "In my faith, I'm taught that abstinence is important."

with "during their premarital lovemaking." Abstinence is important, but he films scenes with premarital lovemaking. There would have to be a pretty good reason before I would film such a scene, certainly more then mere entertainment, much less merely titilating entertainment. I haven't seen the movie, so I can't really comment on the scene or his choices of rolls. I want to make clear I'm not trying to pick on him. I'm just left wondering a bit.

Ah nuts. The Count of Monte Cristo is a *Disney* movie? Grrrr. I really wanted to see that one. The Count of Monte Cristo is my favorite book of all time.

Dagmara Dominczyk remembers how nervous her "Cristo" love interest seemed just before their PG-13 sex scene. "Jim took me aside and said, 'You know, I'm married and very faithful,' " says the Polish-born beauty. "And I said, 'Jim, it's a Disney movie. I'm not gonna grab your crotch!' "

So if it wasn't a Disney movie she would grab his crotch?
