"A third of our generation is gone," Jones adds. Holly Miller, former president of National College Students for Life (with coast-to-coast affiliates and the entire Ivy League) says, "We should leave every third seat empty in our classrooms as a reminder." I am looking forward to seeing you and the "Survivor Generation of Abortion on Demand" at The 29th Annual March for Life, Washington, D.C.Tuesday, January 22, 2002!

I was on the fence for awhile on this issue. I have some strong libertarian leanings and am not a fan of govt being involved in people's lives.
Two things really influenced me on this issue.
1. I was born three months early.
2. The most basic libertarian plank. Use of force. Abortion is an unauthorized use of force that DIRECTLY affects another, and therfore, should be banned on the state level.

4,400 mini-Americans die daily.
This may seem a little morbid but I think the total 9/11 toll (WTC, Penn., Pentagon) is really close to that number...

Truly I weep as I read this. Thanks for posting. We must hope in the generation that has yet to control the corridors of power (now in their 20's and 30's), as the baby boomers have failed the nation miserably.

I was there last year, I was absolutely amazed at all the young folks there.

I can't make it this year, but I'll be thinking of everybody there and praying for all. I am always amazed at the number of young people there every year. So encouraging to see. God bless them all and give them wisdom as they take up the fight. I hope they succeed where we did not.

baby boomers failed their nation How? By working, trying to provide for their family? raising their children the best way they knew how. the hippies were a very tiny miniority. Please don't paint a whole group with a broad brush. If your looking for somebody to blame the major media should be at the top of your list.

I'm a boomer. I wasn't a hippie. I was stupid as were most of us and didn't do squat when we could've done alot. Yep, we were busy alright....and look what slipped in under our noses!

AND......I agree, the media's not exactly on the sane/right side, are they? I'll give ya that!

There is now hope that the sins of the father will not be visited on the son.

Our sons and daughters are attempting to bring an end to the abomination many of my generation legalized.
God Bless these enlightened young soldiers fighting for respect for the sanctity of life.
