baby boomers failed their nation How? By working, trying to provide for their family? raising their children the best way they knew how. the hippies were a very tiny miniority. Please don't paint a whole group with a broad brush. If your looking for somebody to blame the major media should be at the top of your list.

I'm a boomer. I wasn't a hippie. I was stupid as were most of us and didn't do squat when we could've done alot. Yep, we were busy alright....and look what slipped in under our noses!

If you took a poll on how many baby boomers would support the right of a women to "choose", you will find it pretty high compare to the older and younger generations. WE ARE THE GENERATION THAT INTRODUCED/TOLERATED/MAINSTREAMED PROMISCUITY, DRUGS, and ABORTION into US society.

Boomers have been controlling the corridors of power for over a decade. Who allowed them to rise to those positions? Their peers. Notwithstanding the fact that many boomers do not like what has happened, there is no denying that the good ones of that generation have been either asleep at the switch or else too busy to take notice who the hell was taking over.

Having posted all I have, the blame actually now lies with anyone (of any generation) who is not actively doing something significant to stop the slaughter. If you are doing something concrete to try to end it, then good for you and you have nothing to apologize for!!!
