Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

If you mean Michael Jackson, No!;-) I kind've like Michael Jordan, but since his wife wants $200 million off his hide, I'm glad I'm not like Mike! BTW If I was too harsh with the LP, Mea Culpa, I like some of their ideas, but I prefer to chart an independent course.

BUFFY RULES!!!
Do you notice that Buffy never uses that phony wire act? I could also have said that Buffy never did a musical episode but, of course, Buffy messed that up by doing one this season.

And bring old NoMoreDemofacists and the kids with you!!

Did you see my post about the Texas boy talking about "polling" the cows?
You're probably one of a few that knew what I was talking about!

But how do you
pronounce it? I've always wondered about your s/name!!!!!
Mine is as dry as they come. First name: Gretchen ... Last Name: Begins with E ... First Email account I signed up for already had a GretchenE and after many tries to keep my first name intact, without using numbers, the ISP accepted GretchenEE, which has, happily, not been taken in any other quarters that I've visited on the Internet so far, although I keep finding that GretchenE keeps arriving before me everywhere I go.

I wanted to be able to post something one day but hadn't registered. My mind was a complete blank, but I had chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven. Thus the name. I tried to change it later to something really witty, but couldn't figure out how to make the change.

I have an autistic cousin who gave my brother and I special namesFor 5 years I worked in a group home for Autistic folks. One of the clients that lived there gave everyone nick names, but knew our real names. I was Suezette. Years later I was working at a school, beginning of the year, new students...I'm walking down the hall to the buses and I hear "It's Suezette". I couldn't believe it. Just thought I would share this with you.

Hitting the black at 25 yards shouldn't be as hard as hitting those clay birds at 60. The way my luck has been running I just hope the pistol doesn't break again.
