[history]
Someone once said the White House is the only sieve that leaks from the top, but the Bush White House is, so far, famously leak-proof. Or rather almost leak-free.
And that is amazing.
How could it be? How did it happen? And is there any chance it will continue?

I can visualize Woodward's sorry face as he read her column!

"Knowledge is power; sharing the knowledge diminishes the power, ultimately diminishing the 'sharer'."
Ahhh! Could this be why we constantly hear "teamwork" and "you are not a teamplayer" in the workplace. We wouldn't want to give the impression hard work and learning would pay off.

Spot on. This administration has had to deal with numerous leakers already. But they've been exposed and stopped. Clinton left a lot of landmines for little 'ole Woodward to hope for. If Peggy is setting up a pissing match between Woodward and Dubya, my money's on Dubya!

Peggy Sue, I love you!
Don't think she's warning anyone but us, to keep us looking out for some Excellent entertainment that's about to trickle down the wire... Admiring she is of W, she also is a writer and relishes an exquisite dish of intrigue...
She sure did get a salvo shot at Stockman! He's blushing to his tassel loafers.

Mr. Stockman was speaking of course at the exact moment in history when the economy, as Mr. Reagan prophesied, was beginning to burst from its old constraints and yield the Great Abundance, which, for all its ups and downs, is with us still. Why not just call it the Great Abundance started under George Washington, "which, for all its ups and downs, is still with us?" Since 1982, there have been at least two bear markets, one, maybe two crashes, and two recessions. I have nothing against the lower tax rates delivered to us by RR, but I don't get how two market crashes and two recessions can be ignored? Why not, as I facetiously suggested, pull the lens back some more and declare the last 100 years a bull run with some "ups and downs?" Just wondering.

She's done it again. Peggy is a wonder. I have always been curious though about Mary Matalin's true allegiance. I like her but she's married to Satan himself.

Oh, probably the same way the sailor who handles classified information doesn't do it.
