They don't even allow their citizens to vote. That doesn't sound 'conservative' to me.That would not be Conservative in Switzerland, which has a long tradition of popular, grass-roots involvement. That is certainly not the tradition in the Near East.

What I cannot understand is the hostility towards a friendly Government. The conservative thing for Americans has always been to treat those with respect, who treat us with respect--and never, ever meddle in their internal affairs.

The House of Saud is not a 'friendly' government.
They bought and paid for the Taliban, and 18 of the 19 9-11 hijackers were Saudi.
They are our enemy.
The best thing we could do is to eliminate the House of Saud by any necessary means and let Standard Oil run what's left.
