Same as here in Texas. My job as a precinct chairman was made extremely difficult at the last election because of motor-voter. I was told that if someone claimed to have signed up at the motor-voter thing I HAD TO LET THEM VOTE, without ever knowing if they were even a citizen. There was no way on God's green earth I could determine if they were a citizen on Election Day.

For illegals it makes no difference if they have no CA USA Drivers License because the police will accept a fany oreign ID. (Which could be bogus). This will only be a requirement for the citizens that belong here.

So what good would such a license be is nobody enforces existing laws?

This is never going to work, unless they require everyone to bring birth certificates or passports when the apply for the new licenses. Then, of course, we can require driver's licenses or id when voting.
