I really don't think this will be a major problem for Bush to explain. A major problem is trying to explain why your DNA is staining your interns dress.

Clinton spokewomen must have two qualifications: room temperature IQ and room temperature bazoombas.

In addition to this gal, Begala and Carville have been dispatched. Bill must be worried about something. I'm thinking about all the FBI agents ordered to look the other way by upper management while investigating Clinton and Co. Paybacks are what they are and Clinton is about to get his.

From another article you posted:
ButRepublicans plan to emphasize the fact that the private partnerships which eventually helped sink Enron were established during Clinton's tenure in the White House. They also note that Democratic appointees ran the regulatory agencies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, during that period and that they should have spotted Enron's problems before they became fatal.
Palmieri: "Blame Bush because the house of cards fell apart. Don't blame my boss because he helped build it."

"Palmeiri's Enron remarks would have likely been cleared with top Democratic Party officials, and possibly even with the ex-president himself."
. . .and possibly even with the ex-president himself?
Pulleeeeze. . .She gets a paycheck, right? Good to hear Clinton's voice on this. . .

God, this makes me sick. Bill Clinton has singularly destroyed the political process. Oh, Mr. Bill, what about ending the "politics of personal destruction?" What a parasite he is and what a sick game they are trying to play.

The Groper and his spokesmen need to be ignored and shown the door.

Article, after article, after article... Each one says how Bush is to blame, in trouble, involved, whatever. But they never say WHAT it is he DID?!
The only illegal thing he could have done, was to have helped them illegally while in trouble. Obviously Bush never provided them ANY assistance. It would have also been ILLEGAL to have publicized any of their REQUESTS for help, because that would have sent the stock crashing to the floor all on its own.
Just like Rush says, it's the seriousness of the charge that is THE issue.

Palmieri was one of three spokeswomen hired by Mr. Clinton after he left the White House last year Amazing that he always hires females for the job.
To: JeanS
The former Clinton spokesgal suggested that the Enron scandal would pose a much more difficult challenge for the Bush administration than the 9/11 attacks and the ensuing war on terrorism. What in the name of heaven and earth does anyone associated with the Clinton administration know about fighting a war on terrorism???
Idiots.
To: JeanS
"Even if no more damaging information comes out, this is a major problem for this administration," Palmieri told the New York Times. "It is going to damage the president's credibility and it's going to hurt their ability to get their message out." Don't you wish, you bimbo.
Dream on.
To: JeanS
I bet that President Bush has alot of stuff on Clinton that he has not wanted to use before. If Clinton doesn't pull back his attack dogs, the Bush administration may be forced to get down and dirty with them. At least I hope so.
