I wonder if we take out Texas politicians how the numbers shake out. It seems that the fact that Texas has two Republican senators and a president from Texas seems to skew the amount toward the Republicans quite a bit.

Thanks for posting this excellent article. All the national radio news has on the hourly breaks during Rush and Sean were the evil white house BS!
Now with Fox, conservative talk radio and Free Republic, we can get the "Rest of the story out to America"
No wonder Enron went broke if they gave that much money to the village idiot Lee. What a waste of money!

What a surprise.
Enron gave some money to Dems, as well as to Republicans -- as does pretty much every corporate player. It's called "playing both sides."
Enron gave 73% of its $$$ to Republicans. That's very one-sided, and I doubt that the Dems risk as much in an Enron investigation as the Republicans.
