How do I edit my bookmarks
Posted on 01/04/2002 4:31:05 PM PST by Michael2001
I hope I'm posting this in the right place, I apologize if I'm not. I noticed a lot of people have links to threads they like on the left hand side of their profile page. How do they do that?- It's been annoying me for a while now. I tried "edit bookmarks" which makes the most sense but I got a "you have no bookmarks to edit" message. Nothing else I tried worked. I'm usually not this stupid

I have no problem adding, deleting, or editing my book marks cuz I'm running Linux. You Gates loving $uckers!

Could you use a slightly used Shih-Tzu and some Toaster Scraps?

You're disabled. Get used to it.

Thank you.
So, there used to be a link which said "bookmark" at the top and at the end of each thread? And if you clicked on that "bookmark" button it would automatically place the link for that thread on your profile page? Do I understand this correctly?

Thats right. In fact I came across an old thread via the NNNEW search function, and it had the capability - Add Bookmark -- was still on the top of the page and I was able to bookmark it on my profile page.

If you want to take
jjbrouwer's advice, this is how you do it.
If you were going to make a link to this thread, you would enter the code in your profile like this:
<a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/601931/posts">How do I edit my bookmarks</a>
It should look like this when you're finished:
How do I edit my bookmarks

Too funny. I realized I let myself open on that one (why don't I think about these things before hitting send?). Anyway, I guess you figured I love freesias, too.

...in an attempt to be the HEAD DUMBIE, tuberbender asked, "how do you delete post-replys in self search" ?
To: TankerKC
Ok it works now.
I plan to take a look at Linux!

Thanks for pointing me to that thread. Interesting stuff. I had no clue people could put threads in someone else's bookmarks.
