You sure about the lion? It's my understanding that the lion isn't endangered. I know there's a lot of zoos and parks with entire prides in the US but I thought they still run free in somewhat abundant numbers in Africa. I'll go along with the tigers.

So, ummmm, we are supposed to believe the "government" is building "coliseums" in order to feed the Christians to the lions?
Do you have any idea how insanely stupid and pathetically paraniod that is?

The coliseum was round with much structure under the playing field.

Football stadiums are oblong (since the field is rectangular) with nothing under the playing field.

Beyond that there aren't too many different ways to build stadiums for sporting events. There are rows of raised seats around a playing field of whatever shape. How would you suggest they be built? Triangular with the field above the spectators?

If I've learned one thing it's not to mix Ovaltene and Kaluha while watching National Geographic or Animal Planet during a snow storm..........
I get these same ideas when I did that. Stay Safe !

I see nothing in scriptures about feeding Christians to the lions during the reign of anti-Christ, just beheading is mentioned, sounds like a Muslim thing to me but who knows. Is this what your implying?

The Steelers whooped-up on the Lions last week. They will whoop-up on the Tigers this week. Kordell is "the" gladiator.

Tigers are cool. But my wife won't let me have one.
She won't let me have a pet wolf, either. :-(

As long as we're talking about little known facts. How about this one.
Percentage of crimes committed with weapons bought at gun shows...7/10ths of 1%, that's 0.7%.
Quite a loophole huh?
Oh and by the way, you Futurist folks missed it, the signs you are looking for occured in the first century, prior to the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. The Second Coming is a signless event, like a thief in the night.

There is no coliseum in Rome. There is, however, a Colosseum.

One more little known fact. Most of N. America is actually a green house gas consumer. Whereas it is true that we are the largest producer of green house gases in the world, we are also one of, if not the most, consumer of such gases, and our output of these gases to the rest of the world is negative. We not only have large amounts of forestation, both tropical and northern, but we are also surrounded by oceans.
