The 2nd amendment is national CCW! Twit.
Tell that to the judge when you're in jail for trying to carry in NYC or NJ. Maybe when your wacky Southern Independence Party gets Texas to succeed from the union again you can call it 'national', at least in your own 'country. Until then you need to get a life and accept reality.

Why do you think you can drive 65 MPH on open highways these days?
Because some group - AAA? - lobbied hard enough to have it changed from 55. And you say laws can't be changed?
To: Maelstrom
If Denver's law is unconstitutional, where's Ashcroft? He's had time to take on Oregon over their euthanasia laws, and California's medical marijuana. The anti-libertarians are all over this guy for trying to do something about it, but strangely silent about Ashcroft doing nothing.

So, defiance means nothing to you?
What difference does it make whether it means something to me? What I think and what this clown does isn't going to change the law. Petitioning the legislature is what will. You operate on a very flawed theory, as do most here.

If the judicial system follows the law, he will lose. If it follows the Constitution, he will win. It is important here to make the point that it is the law which is unconstitutional. That's what these two guys are trying to demonstrate by going to jail. All laws must follow the Constitution. The problem is, as we have seen in the Supreme Court, how one interprets the Constitution. The Second Amendment, however, is intentitional very clear. Our Founding Fathers already knew if it weren't, there would be room for various interpretations. This will be prosecuted, first, through the state District Court. Later appeals (if he's convicted) can be taken to the Federal Court of Appeals. They can overrule the local municipal/state laws, stating it is un-Constitutional and must be repealed. I am hoping this occurs.

I first explained to him that I support the right to bear arms as much as anyone. I then explained that I also have the right to say whether or not you can carry one on my property and that my decision was that he could not. Guess you didn't support his 2nd Amendment rights!!!!! Please tell me what business you own and what city in MS you're in so that I don't ever support your business by accident! Since you obviously want to curtail my right to protect myself I wouldn't want to knowingly support your business in any way!!!!! Maybe you should post a sign in the window of your business that states that your property is a "Gun-Free Zone" - that way you'll allow gun owners know that you are really anti towards the 2nd Amendment.

There is a time when you must check your manhood, or the female equivalent, and stand up and say no more by whatever means works.
Ok, enough with the drama.

Son, the government doesn't grant RIGHTS. that's where your total argument falls flat on its face.
Said the kook as they took him off to the federal pen.
