And the Fabian Society once more has catapulted itself into the picture because, upon the death of Sonia Orwell, rights to George's estate fell under control of the Fabian Society. According to representatives of HarperCollins, the Fabians will be in control of the 1984 copyright and name through the year 2025 and will do their best to block unauthorized in-vestigative research about Orwell's antisocialist works. An odd twist of fate.

The question still seems to be unanswered. Did Orwell prefer socialism/communism to a capitalistic society? Was
1984 suppose to be a happy comforting book for Socialists like Huxley's
A Brave New World? Or was it a warning and/or recipe for his socialist friends?
Although watching socialists like Hillary Clinton, who does not fear a society like 1984. They do not fear it, because they know they will be the slave-owners of their socialist utopia.
I think these 2 books do more to illustrate the evils of socialism/communism than anything else. That we see some aspects of 1984 appearing in our lives is scary. For example hate crimes are thought crimes.
This is why we as conservatives must keep fighting against socialism to protect our freedoms in our great country...

Orwell was as profound and prolific as the "Patriot Act" is a big piece of s**t.
Notice the leftists are railing over detaining illegal criminal aliens and the military tribunals (both of which are good medicine) yet they have not said a word about the "Patriot Act", I wonder why?
Wait until the wrong administration gets a hold of this POS that was voted on by 99 United States Senators. I've given much support to this administration, but this bit of absurdity may cause me to stay home in 2004. I didn't sign up for this crap.

Please note this question along similar lines I posted two weeks ago. I have not heard of anyone getting a good answer yet. Maybe you will.

Since then I reconsidered that it could be phrased better as "How can we tell you are not O'brien?" In either case the point is clear enough to those of us who've been cognizant.
