The best decision the US could now make would be to turn over Johnny to the Northern Alliance, who after all have the jurisdiction over such mercenaries, or to India, Pakistan or whatever country in the region, or simply to let him loose right there in Afghanistan. This would work just fine for the Bushies who, one suspect, are dreading a decision that, whatever it is, will result in continuing the performance of the media circus, which, as this article demonstrates, has already started. Johnny needs to disappear one way or another.

That's what I picked up too. These "If it feels good, do it" liberal parents don't want to impose their values on their kids. Look at what happenes. I wonder how many other John Walkers are out there? I have a brother who thinks like this. His oldest son, got his live in girlfriend pregnet. My brother said, he could'nt impose his values on him son and tell him to married his pregnet girlfriend. He might get mad at him,LOL,LOL. Oh PUKE!

Following up on that, it appears that John Walker's hatred of the military runs very deep. On a newsgroup, rec.music.hip-hop, Walker (signing his name as Disciple Of The Englober), wrote: "I only caught the last few minutes of the interview (on Tom Snyder), but I do remember that she had some subtly racist things to say. Apparently, she had joined the US military earlier in her life, so this is not much of a surprise."

Walker's message is dated August 15, 1995.

In October 2000, when suicide bombers blew a hole in the side of the USS Cole as the American destroyer was refueling in the Yemeni harbor of Aden, Frank Lindh e-mailed his son to lament that some of the 17 young sailors killed in the blast were the same age as his son. Walker wrote back that bringing the U.S. destroyer into a Yemeni harbor was “an act of war” against Islam. His son’s message “raised my concerns,” Frank told NEWSWEEK, “but my days of molding him were over.”

A video taken by an Afghan cameraman shows Walker sitting cross-legged, slumped silently before the two CIA men. Spann squats down and starts asking questions: “Who brought you here? Wake up! Who brought you here to Afghanistan?
