So much for big and bigger government, and big and bigger business. It won't work. Never has and never will.

I can't believe a Pittsburgh paper would publish this piece. This probably deserves to be breaking news.

Though some voices have squeaked out little calls for investigating how the present admin is tied to Enron .... nothing will come of it because soon the powers that be on the rat side of the bench will quiet them. Can't be telling tales out of school .... now can we?

Too late! Our beloved media has already linked Enron with Bush and Cheney. There is also some congressional commie/black racist thug demanding that Cheney divulge his discussions with Enron reps during the energy policy formulations.

While I agree such discussion/deliberations should be public, Hillie, Willie, and his group of sewer dwellers kept the health care deliberations silent. But, it is too late, the media would NEVER suggest that Willie and Enron were connected. They, as always, want to go after the Republican, not the corrupt commie socialist.

The first: Beware of the Spock babies re: Baby Boomers now that they are nearing retirement and losing whatever sense they had.

I hope they like their Charity Old Age homes. They finally will realize all their Socialist Commune dreams in a 21st century flop house. The rest of us WILL be enjoying the fruits of our capitalism. You can't get water out of a rock.

"Hadn't heard this side of the story..."

Yes, an interesting if not typically tangled tale; which always seems the case if a Clinton name is anywhere near a business deal.

Lib media has already tried to highlight GW's and Dick Cheney names with this. Knowledge is best defense and of course, the truth; which Lib media always has a problem with.

p.s. for Pittsburgh Tribune. . .it is 'Arthur Andersen'. . .

The ABCNBCSeeB.S. news tonight was trying to link the Enron collapse to the Bush administration. Sounds like X42's administration was the real co-conspiritor of Enron.

Here's another Clinton/Enron Connection via Chief of Staff Mike McLarty (Rush talked about this today):

SEPTEMBER 1, 1997 VOL. 150 NO. 9 NOTEBOOK

THE SCOOP

THE WHITE HOUSE
THAT INVISIBLE MACK SURE CAN LEAVE HIS MARK

For a man who had supposedly vanished from the corridors of power, MACK MCLARTY was the man to see in 1996. BILL CLINTON's former chief of staff, now a White House counselor tucked away in the basement, provided assistance to businessmen who ponied up $1.5 million for the Democrats in the last election. On Nov. 22, 1995, for example, Clinton scrawled an FYI note to McLarty, enclosing a newspaper article on Enron Corp. and the vicissitudes of its $3 billion power-plant project in India. McLarty then reached out to Enron's chairman, KEN LAY, and over the next nine months closely monitored the project with the U.S. ambassador to New Delhi, keeping Lay informed of the Administration's efforts, according to White House documents reviewed by TIME. In June 1996, four days before India granted final approval to Enron's project, Lay's company gave $100,000 to the President's party. Enron denies that its gift was repayment for Clinton's attention, and White House special counsel LANNY DAVIS says McLarty acted out of concern for a major U.S. investment overseas.

Nevertheless, there does seem to be a McLarty pattern. At Clinton's request, he met with international oil consultant ROGER TAMRAZ and asked the Energy Department if the Administration could not be more supportive of his Caspian Sea pipeline proposal (Tamraz' contribution: $200,000). It was McLarty who directed a White House lawyer to query the Justice Department about a case protested by VANCE OPPERMAN, head of a legal publishing house (contribution: $350,000). The counselor arranged a White House meeting for Miami computer executive MARK JIMENEZ to discuss political unrest in an important Latin American market (contribution: $325,000). And last week the Washington Post reported that McLarty helped get a Clinton audience for Federal Express chairman FRED SMITH and his concerns about Japanese trade practices. Contribution: $525,000. Davis says McLarty acted "appropriately" in every case.

Love this article. I would guess that Richard Mellon Scaiffe(?) will be 'tagged' as the villain in this criticism of 'godfather' Clinton's family.

Ron Brown, Enron, Croatia - 'deals with the devil'

Yes, the Enron mess is deep, and bubba and his thugs were right in the middle of it all. Most of Enron's global investments were greased by xlinton cronies. What is interesting, is most were a total FAILURE. I was an Enron investor in the 90's, but their evasiveness and close dealings with the 'toon's team always made me nervous. I bailed last year around $70, good thing I did.

As a little footnote for all those conspiracy freaks, take a look at who was SUPPOSED to be on Ron Brown's fatal last flight.

List Of Executives On Brown Trip

Defense Department sources said there were 27 passengers, plus crew, on Commerce Secretary Ron Brown's ill-fated aircraft.

Here, according to the Associated Press, is a list of the executives who had been planning to accompany Brown on his visit to Bosnia and Croatia, and their status, if known.

NOT ON BROWN'S PLANE, COMPANIES SAY:

CANCELED TRIP AT LAST MOMENT:

STATUS UNKNOWN:

CREW MEMBERS:
