I was:
Economic Left/Right: 2.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.31

I agree the survey was flawed. Normally on libertarian type quizes I'm upper right quadrant.

This quiz is a joke. It pegs me as:

Economic Left/Right: 7.13
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.18

which is absurd. I am much more of a libertarian than the quiz determined. It fails because it makes no distinction between moral views and advocacy for legislation enforcing said rules. I am very socially conservative, but I do not seek to legislate those of my views, on topics which do not involve force or fraud, on others.

So am I screwed up or what? I also thought that, like many of you, I was pretty hard-right. My score (I did NOT do this on purpose):

Economic Left/Right: 0.50

Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.05

Guess I should change my handle to "wishy washy" or something... sheesh... of course, the test is written so that if one wishes to show ANY compassion for people who are truly disadvantaged (very disabled etc), he also thinks it's great to hand out freebies to everyone...

I found the test to be very poorly done and the more I read of it the more I concluded that it has very little or no worth as a tool for discovering where one stands on the political spectrum.

This quiz is a joke.

I agree, and with a hard left bias to boot.

The other thing that bothered me about this quiz is their dismissive mention of "American libertarianism." Hello? Where did modern libertarianism develop? I've read a lot of the early stuff, and all the authors, save one, were Americans.

Upon further review, I'm far more to the right than anyone else who posted their scores on this thread.

Again, whatever that means.

The opening question ("If globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations") betrays the deep biases of its designer. The underlying fraudulent assumption is that humanity and trans-national corporations must always stand in fundamental opposition to one another, locked in a zero-sum contest--in a battle of between good and evil.

Those were my thoughts, exactly!

The opening question ("If globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations")

I answered "strongly disagree" because I refuse to accept the notion that business is bad for people.

After all, if it weren't for business, who would provide jobs?

>>>what the heck does this mean..............

Not sure......

I wish there was a question like....

A. [Essay] Pretend for a minute that government solutions are only a final resort. How would you then deal with

1) Pollution
2) Class Warfare
3) Old age & retirement
4) Poverty

Hint: If you can think of no answers - then you are a liberal - stop here.

B.... Pretend for a minute that you are President and each individual and corporation had a cap or a maximum government tax of 10% of income. How could you use this to your advantage?
Hint: If you can think of no answers - then you are a liberal - stop here.

Ok...here are my results (even though I'm not sure they are actually accurate):

Economic Left/Right: -0.13
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.13

I was smack dab in the middle of the graph, hmm.

Sex and sin are two sides of the same coin.

What do they mean by that?
