Take the test and see where you come out....

I don't consider this very accurate. Many of the questions / answers are limited in their description of the "problem", and/or are limited in their response.
I was forced to either agree or disagree with a very basic statement of opinion that often did not accurately represent the complexities of the issue.
I took this same "test" a couple of years ago. ( Or one very similar ) I have moved to the left a bit, according to this evaluation. ( I believe I was considered a "moderate" conservative in that one. )
There were no questions on gun issues, and an entire section could be devoted just to the constitution.
All in all though, interesting little questionare.

Very Interesting...I was
Economic Left/Right: 1.00 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -0.77
Always thought I was more opinionated than that...lol
To: Drammach
Yes, there were a number of "always" type questions. To many of the statements there are exceptions so I could not say "always" even though I leaned that way...

Are you Libertarian 'Open Borders'?
To: The Raven
Interesting...I was 4 to the right and -2 libertarian...just where everyone should be!!!
To: The Raven
The first question started "If globalism is inevitable..." I left the survey at that point, since I really believe that if globalism is inevitable our national identity would no longer exist.
Would I want government or corporations to run this brave new world? That's like asking kids if they'd prefer brocolli or spinach...it just feels like a choice to really dumb kids!

It's not very accurate. I was -.88 to the left and +.36 to the Authoritarian. That's weird, I've always considered Stalin the greatest criminal of the 20th century. LOL The questions aren't worded very well.

I.E. Authoritarian-Right
Right up there with Maggie Thatcher. (I always liked that woman; Now I know why.)
To: The Raven
I'm like Hitler. Close to Maggie Thatcher and uncle Joe Stalin.
It's pretty much on the mark. I don't complain... I spoke my mind.
When I get voted into office... sit down and let me dismiss you. It will make my day.

I was economic Right 4.0 and Libertarian .42. I didn't particularly like the way the questions were worded.
To: The Raven
Economic Right: 3.5
Auth/Lib: .05
I'm comfortable with who I am;^)
To: The Raven
I guess I am "Just another Joe"
Economic Left/Right: 0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.28
That puts me just to the right and just below the center point of the graph.
To: The Raven
Economic: 2.63
Authoritarian: -1.18
I agree that a lot of the questions were vague. And the survey was missing a "neutral" setting. For example, one of the questions about education was "Schools should spend less time on art and more time on job training" ---- how about "Schools should spend less time on political indoctrination and more time on math & science"????
To: The Raven
Economic Left/Right: 2.50
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.00
person closest to me on their charts? tony blair in 1997. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

The results are about as meaningful as the cost of the test. Atleast it put me closest to ole Milton.
