It is much more delicious to have Mr. Miller as a Democrat. Think about it for a bit. And to be honest I think it is overall much better for the Republic in the long run.

Only problem with that theory is the USA never recognized the Taliban as a legitimate government.

Only problem with that theory is the USA never recognized the Taliban as a legitimate government. However, Walker did serve in a foreign military, whether or not we recognized the government. Someone could serve as a mercenary for a rebel army and face a similar sanction, even though the military in which they were serving was not part of a recognized government.

I've said it before, but I think the most likely thing to happen with Walker is they'll keep him in custody for a couple of years, and then be forced to release him (his daddy can afford the high powered lawyers). He will return to America, write a best selling autobiography, then hit the lecture circuit. He'll wind up being some Islamic studies professor at Berkeley.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how Miller can even stand to be in the same room with the likes of daschle/clinton/leahy and others!

Did our beloved President Shrub ever request a declaration of war against anyone? NO! If we have NOT declared war how can we have military tribunals?

Get off Ashcroft's back and let him do his job. Zell, why don't you tell your buddies Leaky Leahy, Teddy Kennedy and Tom Dasshole?

lol. rats will never let him declare war.. I don't recall him ever asking, besides anyone who opposed a Declaration of War, prior to America engaging in war would have been pasted with "making common cause with the WTC attackers" in the next elections.
By not requesting a Declaration of War and then wanting to hold any high level taliban or al queda for trial by military tribunal Shrub guts the Constitution and hundreds of years of established international law.

There was a time in the not so distant past when Democrat senators who were also patriots weren't such a rare commodity. Zell Miller's fellow Georgian Sam Nunn was a case in point. So was Henry Jackson from Washington, Sam Ervin of North Carolina and even the now senile old goat Fritz Hollings from South Carolina.

I hope the voters get the message the LIBERALS are trying to send to TERRORISTS. It's amazing how they always seem to be on the side of WRONG, IMO. Are they all just stupid or do they really think we should give the TERRORISTS the same rights that US citizens get?

Does it matter that TRAITOR Walker's dad used to work in the U. S. Department of Justice? I read that earlier tonight. Do you think they will let him off easy because of it? Leftover friends?

So, I guess Miller isn't supporting Barr (or Ron Paul) and doesn't like Turley either.

How do we know they are terrorists or war criminals when they haven't even had a trial? That's the information that comes out at the tribunal. How officials received that information is WHY the suspect must appear at a secret trial/tribunal. Otherwise, the lid would be blown off our intelligence gathering agencies and American citizens put in danger. And not just citizens in military and spy agencies. Every government employee working in whatever jurisdiction picked for such a "trial" would become the target of terrorists. Where do YOU live, maybe YOUR county courthouse will volunteer first???
Don't worry, Ambrose. If you are a U.S. citizen this will never affect you. You may hire Johnny Cochran, if you wish, to represent you in any court of law.
