No Nuclear Weapon Parts Found in Bosnia, Says SFOR
DPA ^ | 12/03/01

SARAJEVO, Dec 3, 2001 -- (dpa) No radioactive material was found in central Bosnia-Herzegovina's region of Kiseljak, the NATO-led Stabilization Force (SFOR) said Friday, contradicting earlier reports that said Italian peacekeeping troops found parts needed to make nuclear weapons.

SFOR spokesman Captain Daryl Morrell confirmed only that SFOR was involved in an operation supporting the local police in Kiseljak, 20 kilometers north of the capital Sarajevo.

Since the operation is still continuing, Morrell refused to comment on its nature.

Meanwhile, local police detained three persons after discovering in their houses suspicious materials believed to be used to produce explosive devices. Morrell confirmed the arrests, but stressed that they were carried out by local police.

According to an unofficial source close to local police, several plastic bags with a "strange" content were found in the house during the joint SFOR-police investigation.

Even though initial information indicated that the discovered parts could be used in the production of nuclear weapons, the source backed the SFOR statement, saying no such parts were discovered.

As soon as SFOR/NATO starts denying things vocally like this, there's something there.

To answer your question: I can only think of two primary targets for "Allah's Suitcase" in Bosnia. These would be the American base at Tuzla and the US Embassy in Sarajevo. Quite frankly I think the Embassy would be the primary target for a so called "Dirty bomb."

This because access to the perimeter defences is easily achieved. To his credit, the new US ambassador has made conventional blast protection a prioroty there. However it would be much more effective for the Islamic entente to contaminate the facility than to waste a tactical nuke on such a targert.

I would tend to think however that Islamic entente forces would not use such a device against Serbs or Croats -- although the technical knowledge to construct such a device definately exists in Sarajevo.

How many Bosnian leaders have left the country in recent days? When you get down the list a bit, ask yourself why Mladen Ivanic is in China until Sunday? Remember how he conveniently left the RS right before the Banja Luka riots earlier this year concerning the rebuilding of the mosque?

I suspect attacks in Bosnia will be conventional. US and Brit personnel remain quite vulnerable there -- one or two deaths will be front page news.

I cannot begin to tell you how confident I am that the Islamic entente has "Allah's Suitcase" capability. If you have access to contacts with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, you might want to ask about Mr D's report to them late last year reference the availability of nuclear components from Russia via Chechnya.

Regardless, the fact that SFOR is backtracking on this report is not a good sign. You might also look into certain Iranian born bankers in Istanbul Friday. Remember that Russian devices are purchased with two payments. Half on delivery (usually with a hostage) and the remainder upon successful activation...

The original report I believe was in Italian, and reported November 30. This is how I think I found it: I kept searching "more news" to go further back in time and I found an Italian title with the words "Bosnia" and Nucleare" here - www.europeaninternet.com/bosnia/webnews.php3?block=20 : · TERRORISMO: BOSNIA, CC SVENTANO TRAFFICO NUCLEARE 1 Dec 2001

Then, next, I typed in "Terrorismo" "Bosnia" "Nucleare" for a GOOGLE search. I think this is that article:

Terrorismo: è allarme nucleare presi in Bosnia 4 trafficanti

Can't read Italian but you can see "Sfor" and other recognizable words:

ROMA - Di nuovo allarme sul fronte del terrorismo nucleare. In Bosnia, i carabinieri dello Sfor e la polizia locale hanno intercettato un traffico di materiale radioattivo non meglio identificato...

"A crude Islamic nuclear device, fashioned by the apelike copying of technology by inferior scientists might kill many but it would be a fission bomb and thus not at all comparable to the thermonuclear devices that would fall from Cairo to Islamabad should "Allah's suitcase" ever go off."

Good point!! If we were as ruthless as the terrorists, we could probably put a stop to their nastiness by threatening Mecca. First, set off a nuke in the Saudi desert, then tell ALL of the Islamic world that they have a week to turn over or otherwise eliminate all terrorists or the next nuke is on Mecca. Good Muslims all want to make the pilgrimage at least once in their lifetimes, and in addition Mecca has a singularly important position in the world of Islam. It's a good thing that we aren't that ruthless, I guess...

General Gehlen was a great man -- he fooled the West for many years, but he was no Admiral Canaris. Try not to be fooled by taking the obvious and then drawing faulty conclusions...

However you are to be applauded for at least attempting to understand. Since time grows short for the millions soon to die perhaps you will indulge my response...

Yes, Japan was hit by two atomic bombs from a superior foe that would later spend billions in rebuilding their Far East colonies. If you are able, go to Okinawa and play golf sometime on land that still "belongs" to Japan but is guarded by US troops. The point is that when the stronger party (the West) is hit by such an attack, they must turn to themselves to rebuild. As lender and builder of last resort, the West will have no place to turn but from within to rebuild.

This is tough on GNP.

Fission bombs operate by splitting the atom. There is another type of nuclear device a bit more powerful that involves adding a hydrogen molecule to the mix. The name of this type of reaction escapes me at the moment, but in the back of my mind seems quite familiar...

Dry is good and wind is better...

The West is extremely vulnerable to economic attack now. Ultimately the cost to the US of the 911 assaults will be in the trillions. Let us revisit the low tech shopping mall asssault scenario and see how it will play out...

US merchants have been staggered this year and hope to make most of their money from now until Christmas. On a weekend shopping day, when millions are at malls, Islamic entente gunmen may decide to attack a half dozen American shopping malls simultaneously...

Four or five men at each mall, armed with small bombs and automatic weapons would kill perhaps two or three hundred people. However in the current "security" climate in the US, the overreaction would result in every mall across the country being evacuated and shutdown...

Hundreds of billions of dollars in sales would be lost for that one day as well as the resulting failure by Americans to go shopping. Cost for such an operation? Less than one hundred thousand dollars and twenty martyrs...

A very cost effective attack...

What is the most expensive real estate in America? A so-called "Dirty bomb" exploded there could possibly take a year to clean -- very expensive also...

Nuke Mecca in response to "Allah's Suitcase"? Sure... then you have one point four billion ready to become martyrs. Never happen...

Bill Clinton's illegal war against Yugoslavia (bought and paid for by the glorious operatives of the Kosovo Liberation Army) taught a few Americans about the superior capabilities of Yugoslav and RS intelligence networks. I doubt you have contacts in the intelligence business in Belgrade or Banja Luka but if you did I would suggest you talk to them candidly...

They know the Islamic entente prepares to strike again before the end of the year. Alas Langley does not want to listen... oh well...

Millions to die in the Third World War as "Allah's Suitcase" ushers in a new Dark Age for mankind. The West in a hopeless position -- choking on its own bureaucracy. So many to die...

You see Charlie, Starkist doesn't want tuna with good taste -- they want tuna that tastes good. Sorry, I meant: Osama bin Laden doesn't want to kill Americans, Osama bin Laden wants America out of Saudi Arabia...

And of course that is exactly what KLA and Chechen fighters and their stunning victories will permit as they defend the route of the AMBO pipeline -- a pipeline that will neutralise the Islamic oil card.

And with that card to be neutralised in a decade by AMBO, well you can see why the Eastern Holy Warriors have gone to war now...

Too bad millions must die to learn this simple equation. However 1914 and 1939 the same as 2001. Things really do never change. Oil is how much a bbl now?

The forces of freedom on the move. Europe trembles.

This is about the only thing you should take note of in Fusion's musings.

taught a few Americans about the superior capabilities of Yugoslav and RS intelligence networks.

The same one's who led Milosevic to believe that he could hold onto Kosovo in the face of Western military action and allowed Karadzic to misjudge the West in much the same manner after Srebrenica with the continuation of the shelling of Sarajevo?

Bunch of amateurs, Fusion. Judge an intelligence service by the health of the state it serves - and the 'eyes' of Yugoslavia and the RS are myopic to a fault and have directly contributed to the reduced circumstances that their masters now find themselves in.

...and contaminate many more moslems? That would go down really well. Hey, why not go for the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia? Your powers of crock increase with age, rather like cheese.

My proof is that he is unable to back any of his fantasy claims, quotes fictional characters, and says all the things you'd want an Albanian to say, Leonora - while throwing in such gems as "No doubt he eagerly prepares another Racak type scenario to legitimize NATO military involvement." and "Bill Clinton's illegal war against Yugoslavia".

Yeah, he's an Albanian alright... in a Walter Mitty kind of way.

And before that (on his previous posts) he spoke of things totaly anti-Serb and anti-Yugoslav. I think he is a crackpot, and I rarely read or respond to any of his posts.

Actually some of his worst responds he drew from the Greko-Slav block on the FR. The weirdest thing is that he knows so much about the region and at times sounds really lucid (have you read "The Madman and the Proffesor"?).
