_Fed, just to clarify, I think OJ tried to hire someone but when that didn't pan out, he did it himself. At least, that seems most likely given what I've read on the case, which isn't everything.

I don't buy it for a moment. There was just too much evidence pointing to OJ, especially during the civil trial which had a sane jury. Read Mark Fuhrman's book, or Vannater and Lange's book, and go back through some of the evidence presented at trial and documented in the media. OJ did it!

A house painter with the same size shoe as OJ?
To: _Jim
Many years ago, I asked a liberal friend of mine whether he thought Alger Hiss was guilty or was framed. His answer was, he thought he was guilty and he was framed.
You registered correctly that I thought O.J. might not have done it. I would add that, whether he did it or not, I am pretty sure some of the evidence was manufactured.
To: _Jim
#247 LOL.
Please add me to the generic OJ did it list.

Don't worry about it, Crandall, it's close enough for government work.

a house painter that can afford high dollar Italian Brono Whatever shoes? My daughter is a lowly travel agent.......... she pays a lot for shoes.
To: codebreaker
He didn't do it. He was on his cell phone in the bathroom practicing his golf.

O.J. WAS found guilty in the civil suit....remember?No, he was found liable. The standard was much lower -- proponderance of the evidence, which means more likely than not or 50% plus 1. Perponderance is the only standard of evidence in the law that can be quantified. In addition, he put up virtually no defense, and I don't think his lawyer was any good. I also don't think the judge was going to allow anything but a plaintiff's verdict.
