The standard of proof for civil liability is by a preponderance of the evidence. That standard means that the trier of fact believes that the evidence in favor of liability at least slightly exceeds the evidence in favor of the defendant.

As I understand it, Goldman was about 6 feet tall, went to the gym 4 days a week and was by all accounts in good shape.

He is facing an attacker who is almost the same size (if it was OJ) and is in a fight for his life.In fact the crime report says that there was a teriffic struggle with his killer.

Under those circumstances, dont you think that he might have gotten at least ONE punch in? If so, it would certainly have bruised. I used to box and I assure you, getting hit by a strong man, even with boxing gloves on, will leave a bruise.

OJ was minutely examined and was found to have NO bruises on his body, in fact the only injury( the cut on his hand ) was confirmed to have happend AFTER he arrived in Chicago or wherever it was.

I know I will be flamed for this but screw em, I would also have aquitted him, there were a great many reasons why I still believe there is reasonable doubt about his guilt.

I totally agree with you. To believe he did it, you have to believe many far fetched ideas. The questions you raised can not be honestly answered and come to the conclusion that OJ did it. All the "He had to do it" crowed want to hear is "there was blood on his clothes" and "He left a footprint".

The glove simply did not fit, and to say it "shrank" is insulting to my intelligence. Indeed, why would he leave certain bloody garments, and get rid of others? How was there so little blood on him when there was so much at the crime scene? And he surely did not have time to do it, clean up, and get to the limo.

I assume he "ran in the Bronco" because he KNEW it would be blamed on him. He probably already assuemd the cops had planted evidence. And no one here even wants to consider the facts of Nicole's past(and present) as possible reasons for someone to kill her. Hell, someone may have done it to get back at OJ, knowing it would easily be blamed on him.

The O.J. civil jury was UNANIMOUS, having heard all the evidence presented in the courtroom, of O.J. being the one responsible for the murders. As am I.
