Technically, the UN site is not even sovereign US territory.

The UN should sell the property to, say, Donald Trump for offices/hotels/condos. Remove all zoning/density constraints and tap into the 7/Flushing subway line directly under the land.

Then, the UN should lease the top third of a rebuilt TALLER WTC tower, so they "have some skin in the game" on international security.

If they keep trying to destroy our choice to opperate independently, why are they biased in that this is the only country to have their HQ in? I guess just in case they wear us down and get to take over, they don't have to pay that expensive moving cost to set up shop. They're here! Why can't they be as they say, a congregation of a body of nations and build a place on an island in international waters, etc.? Kind of like fantasy island.
