Thanks for the links. Great job. So my response is, "Yeah, what he said."

Thanks for looking.... I'm not a close follower of the Blood Trail stories, but from what I have gathered Liddy was either complict in the spread of infected blood- or- she was incompetent, and it slipped by her. Neither scenario is reassuring!

You're right. Neither is reassuring. Her soft stance on guns and other issues has led to me believe she's a RINO. I've seen her make some great comments over time. But there's just too much baggage as far as I am concerned.

Early on in this liberal's charade of being the conservative candidate of choice to carry on Senator Helm's tradition of Conservatism, I recieved such solicitations from the NC Republican party, and Dole supporters, but lately I don't hear much from them. I may have discouraged them by the note I wrote on their donation form and returned in the postage paid envelope with not one cent of a donation.

I merely hand wrote and signed a note that said: I do not support or vote for, liberals of any party, who are anti-second amendment, pro-homosexual agenda, pro-baby killers, and pro-Boy scout bashers. Some how they seem to have assumed I was speaking of Liberal Lizzie Dole-who would have thought they could get the message?

I believe that Bob Dole was more responsible for Bill Clinton's re-election than Ross Perot was for the first. Lizzie presents a similar problem-she may very well win, but she makes the election a win, win, situation for the liberal democrats-win or lose, a liberal will sit in Jesse Helm's seat.

I am tired of the same old argument stating that if we don't get a liberal Republican in, we will have a democrat. I don't vote Libertarian or Republican in order to say there is another person with that party's initial after his/her name when it appears in print or on tv. I vote for a particular person based on their past voting record and actions. Believe me, if you vote or help Elizabeth Dole, you will be helping the liberal, America-hating cause in which we conservatives are against. She is just another socialist, nanny-government Republican In Name Only(RINO).

It is in elections such as these that you vote libertarian if the option exists. The Republican strategists will see this as the reason for her impending loss and instead of reaching toward the left for votes that will never come, they will reach, in future elections, for the votes that they used to win elections with. That simple. Let's return the Republican Party back to conservative, little government principles.

On the NC GOP page, there are links to websites for the various canidates for Jesse's Senate Seat.

http://www.ncgop.org

Do any of the others have a chance at winning the republican nomination? I would love to support on of the alternate canidates, but with so many conservatives to pick from, with such similar views, I don't see how to decide.
