Good letter. Not that they don't know all this. But Rats always push to see what they can get away with. We need to push back harder. If 10% of those who read FR took the time to call or write, as you did, Leahy's staff would be in shock.Conservatives have done this in the past. Dems tried to kill home schooling in the house and got scorched so bad hey haven't brought the subject up again. Reagan slashed taxes across the board and Dems played dead. Democrats are not as stupid as we think. They do listen. Not that they change. But they will hide out for a while and let us do our thing.

Catch Ashcroft's comments on Rush? Leahy is out there saying the DOJ didn't ask Congress for imput on the military tribunals. Turns out Leahy's committee wrote to the DOJ and asked if they were under consideration. The Rats have no shame at all. None.

Absolutely agree with you......recall how Barr said all the emails & letters gave the House the courage to go ahead with the Impeachment.

I remember having a sore hand from writing 'hand written' letters because some Freeper had said that one such letter was regarded as the equivalent to 1000 Americans.....LOL

Your post # 94, you sound like me Julie.LOL...I hand wrote sooooo many and when I went to the post office to mail them a man said, you have a lot of bills to pay don't you. I turned to him and told him what it was about and he smiled and said......"Good for you" lol

Finally got back on tonight! My son's apartment complex had a fire yesterday afternoon -- went back today to finish getting out what was salvagable from his apartment. Fortunately, he had mostly smoke damage while his roommate's room and bathroom were hit the hardest. Then my youngest daughter's band/orchestra concert was tonight. Just got home from that as she plays in both groups.

Now I am glad to bump this for tonight!
