Leahy's office has been getting phone calls and now they won't let you talk to a person even if you say it was for a few minutes. I just tried -- you get a recorder instead. She refused to answer if they had been getting phone calls and sent me to the recorder!

Have you noticed how difficult it is to contact the Dems.? They really don't seem to want to know what their constituents think, would rather simply do the thinkin' for you. LOL. Florida's AG (Gore's Fla. campaign mgr) is the only member of the Fla. exec. branch that does not include an e-mail addee on his website.
Try hunting for a "contact us" link on a Dem. website like DU. And can you imagine how Republicans would react if one of their own took it upon themselves to send a 15-page memo to other Reps. telling them how to behave and what to think post 9-11 a la the Carville/Shrum memo? What are they, Borg? Borg with arrogant, dictatorial, wrongheaded leadership?

We can hit Leahy, Daschle, Kennedy, Edwards on the judicial appointments every day 'til we win. Good job. (^:

You are right about EMails. I sent one as in (go to Afganistan and stay there) to Congrexxladee Cynthia McKinney, GA, after she apologized to the shiek you know.

In order to send an Email to a Rep or Senator you must give your zip code.

The peeples in McKinney's office resent the email to my Congressman who I know very well, and consider to be a great guy, he also knows and respects me.

When my Congressman got the email now it looked like I had sent it to him and needless to before it was all sorted out, we were both pretty upset.

I think the best solution is to find out whether there was some kind of device that deadened the brains of the majority of voters of that beautiful State of what is now the Workers Republic of Vermont resulting in the election of pieces of clinton aka Leahy and Jeffords.
