BIBI BREAKS IT DOWN FOR MSNBC MORON: TRANSCRIPT
MSNBC ^ | Dec. 2, 2001 | MSNBC

Posted on 12/02/2001 10:16:14 AM PST by Cinnamon Girl

(this is the transcript, not exact because I typed it myself)(paranthetical expressions from me.)

Chick: Tell me, what do you think this means in terms of the prospects of success in any kind of talks coming up Monday that are scheduled between President Bush and the current Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon. Any success there?

Bibi: The problem is not between Israel and America. We’re both on the same side of the fence, we’re democracies fighting terrorism. You’re fighting the Taliban state in Afghanistan that harbors a terrorist organization, we’re fighting the Arafat regime which harbors a dozen terrorist organizations that have now carried out additional suicide attacks on Israeli civilians in the heart of Jerusalem. The problem is not between Israel and the U.S., the problem is w/ the Arafats and Talibans of the world which harbor terrorists. I think we have to adopt a uniform policy and basically say to Arafat what you are saying to the Taliban. Surrender terrorism or surrender power. In the case of the Taliban, they have not surrendered terrorism so you’re throwing them out and you’ll soon catch bin Laden in my judgment. In the case of Arafat, we should say exactly the same thing to him. Either your surrender terrorism or surrender power. Stop this terrorism or you’re out. It needs to come with uniform clarity from North America and Israel. We’ve allowed him to act with impunity…

Chick: And yet, Mr. Prime Minister, we’ve been told that Arafat has said he wants all this to cease and he’s asked all those that are doing these heinous acts to stop in order to give some chance for peace in the region. Do you believe that he’s either paying lip service or do you believe he’s lost control of power?

Bibi: He’s ASKED them? You ASK them to stop? You don’t ASK them to stop. If you had terrorist marauding Canada from U.S. positions would you ask them to stop or would you take action against them. They have offices. They have addresses. They’re roaming around free. And he’s doing nothing. He should use the 50,000 weapons we’ve given him to act against these terrorists as he’s promised to do…

Chick: You gave him weapons to go after these terrorists? (HI, I’M A REPORTER. WHERE’S THE MIDDLE EAST?)

Bibi: (incredulous pause) Well not ME. But the Israeli government that signed the Oslo accords gave him 50,000 Kalichnikov assault rifles.

Chick: What do you believe is being done with those guns right now? Do you believe they are being turned on your own people? (DUH)

Bibi: Well we know that because just the other day Arafat’s own fatach group, he’s the commander of that group, and now officially they’ve carried out a terrorist attack just two days ago… So Arafat is in the amazing situation of being both a harborer of terrorists, a Taliban, and a perpetrator of terrorism, a bin Laden. He’s the only leader in the world that qualifies under both categories. (PLEASE PICK UP YOUR YEAR'S SUPPLY OF RICE-O-RONI ON YOUR WAY OUT.) What should be done with Arafat is what you are doing with the Taliban and bin Laden. You don’t talk to these people, you don’t ask them to be nice. You tell them, unless you stop terrorism, terrorism that your own forces carry and terrorism that you harbor, unless you stop that we’ll take punitive action against you in the most forceful way. At the end of the day, surrender terrorism or surrender power. That’s the only way to deal with terrorism. There is no other way.

"Powell is the Neville Chamberlain of the current crisis. He MUST GO! He is a deficit to the Bush Administration."

He would probably go straight to the Democrats; hopefully, he will be appropriately enlightened by his term with President Bush et al. . .

BIBI was just great this morning! I just love that guy. He tells it like it is, and I love that little half smile when he is asked a stupid question! He looks like, "how can you be so stupid and still be walking around?"

I think I heard Rush mention this problem of allowing the Arabs to call it "occupied" this morning on his show.

The current cabinet has several whiners. Ashcroft is a total whining weenie, too.

Oh, I disagree. Ashcroft is tough-minded and is much maligned by the media for the courage to do what is necessary to round up these Islamic foreign-nationals and hold them.

If anything, he should move quickly to deport the Middle Eastern students in this country and shut down these so-called Islamic religious schools--that are nothing more than hotbeds of terrorism that are indoctrinating young children with this crock of madness.

I saw it-it was great!

CG- Glad to hear it! Rush is really good at summarizing things down to basics and countering all the spin.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Janet Ashcroft to do what he should do. He's a pissant, in way over his head and treading water. Watch him and see. He's done diddly so far and will do more diddly in the days to come.

Where's that coming from. He's held nearly 1,000 suspected terrorists and foreigners without cause and in the face of critics; plus, he was a key player on the military tribunal idea.

And, he's basically told the Senate to piss off.

I guess you'd rather have that seditious freak Orrin Hatch in there?

The first thing Ashcroft did in office was to continue Reno's jihad against the Indianola Baptist Temple. He has run interference for his predecessor since then and his reaction to the 9/11 attacks was to whine that the Constitution is in his way and that he can't do his job without setting it aside.

Why does Hatch occur to you as an alternative? Why not Ted Olson?
