Here is the text of a prayer request from a friend on one of the shooting forums I belong to.......

My son-in-law was diagnosed with a cancer three weeks ago. He and my daughter have our two grandchildren..4 & 14 mos. Brian is 28 in perfect health and in Grad. school @ UGA's Forrestry and wildlife school.He has a 3.92 and was granted an assistanceship to do his Master's.

Fortunately, the cancer is very treatable with Radiation. Brian is having a time with the aftermath of these doses of radiation. Mainly, sickness and it wears him out. It is wearing mentally.

He will undergo the last 7 treatments this coming week and Mon. & Tues. of the following week. We see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Brian needs a lift at present.....family can do just so much.

I ask that you help me fill his e-mail with " Brian, you do not know me but I am praying for you and you will be O.K., I feel it." ( or something to that effect ) Something simple.

I cannot think of a better way to lift someone, than to know there are so many caring people out there praying for you.

Please see that they can read this thread. I was in too much of a hurry earlier and misread your post. I thought Brian was your son-in-law. Makes no difference because prayers were still said for him.

My brother-in-law underwent radiation therapy years ago and has been cancer free since then.
