Now for the good news for the rest of you all; our governor, not content to contribute to the downfall of this once great state, has ambitions of taking it national. He has formed a PAC to pursue his goal to run for President!!!1
Yes, glock rocks was the bright Freeper who came up with Free Republic Life Form
For over a year, I have been referring to Free Republic as Jim Robinson's great invention or gift. Glock's label of Free Republic Life Form is far better than my descriptive terms. It truly is a life form!
Of course I will steal any good ideas at anytime. When someone uses Glock as part of their pen name, I will give them credit and even call them glock rocks, sir!
glock and I have a good time with my verbal skills and his creative computer skills/pictures. When we join forces there is a synergism of good fighting the truly ugly. Glock knows exactly what I mean by ugly here!
"Brilliant" and "fun-loving" come to mind, though.
Who wants to sign up? Do you do a monthly? Is it at least $30 a month?

Thanks to glock rocks and Jim Robinson, I became a little creative decided to start the 5,000 club campaign a little ahead of today. This thread explains why we need 5,000 Freepers who care to donate on a monthly basis. It is an example of the synergism that can happen only on Free Republic. You might want to read some of the replies that I received yesterday to gain an deeper understanding of what Free Republic means to so many of us!
Inspite of battling a cold/virus, this thread yesterday and being able to respond to the great replies made yesterday a terrific day for me! Go there and read some of the replies to see what I mean: ( 5,000 Freepers who care are needed now!)

was inspired. the brilliant part of monthly donation is in the basis it gives
Jim Robinson the ability to predict operational cash flow... who knows if i
might get a brusing flame just before the next fundraiser, and hence not
pitch in? ... so monthly donation not only makes more sense in that respect,
but it becomes simply another living expense that is taken care of, like the satellite bill...
and the rewards are so much more fulfilling. thanks for your kind words.
