This is sweet.

For years I've wished we could have an optional line on our federal tax form where people who thought taxes were too low could opt to pay more in federal taxes. Like the Presidential Campaign deduction except it would actually change the amount you paid.

I never thought it would raise money. I just would have loved to ask the liberals who want tax increases how much extra tax they contributed. Liberals always love to make rules that affect others but not themselves.

This is beautiful. I hope Huckabee hits them over the head with this again and again.

We need to perfect the human cloning technique and clone Gov Mike to replace Gov DimBulb in Kalifornia.

"There's nothing in the law that prohibits those who believe they aren't paying enough in taxes from writing a check to the state of Arkansas," the release said. "Maybe this will make them feel better."

LOL! That's really funny.

Arkansas has redeemed themselves for Clinton by electing one of the BEST governors in the nation. Too bad most the south refuses to follow suit.

Local radio talk show host Jerry Agar of 680 WPTF (Raleigh NC) earlier in the year put out an offer to all of his liberal listeners during a tax increase debate in NC. He offered a hosting opportunity of 1 uninterrupted hour of his radio show to any liberal who could show, prior to the day of his annoucing the offer, that they paid MORE in taxes on April 15th than their tax bill required them too. All they had to do was show a cancelled check to either the Federal Gov or State Gov above and beyond their tax liability and the hour was theirs.

No one came forward to accept the prize.

And he didnt make it hard by having a 5 minute window of opportunity. He kept repeating his offer for WEEKS!

"Huckabee for veep in 2008? "

I still think the worries about Cheney's health will be an issue in 2004, so maybe he's ready then....

Liberals hate being told to (voluntarily) "put up or shut up". They'd much rather be involuntarily forced to pay increased taxes.

They hate the smell of "liberty" in the morning.

For those who believe that tax increases provide the answer -- "the liberal tax-and-spenders," Huckabee called them in an interview after his speech -- the state Department of Finance and Administration at the governor's behest set up the Tax Me More Fund. Its address is P.O. Box 8054, Little Rock, Ark. 72203.

The Tax Me More Fund, I thought that was the Democratic National Committee.
