Mullah Omar Killed Tonight?

Fox News Channel reports that it is trying to confirm news it has received from American military sources that Mullah Mohammed "Zoom Zoom" Omar may have pretended to be a car for the last time.

Omar is said to have been in one of two buildings destroyed by American air strikes tonight. The buildings command centers for the Taliban and AlQaeda, and housed offices of Wasa, the Saudi "reilef" agency funneling money to Osama and the Taliban.

The buildings were definitely hit; what is awaited is confirmation that Omar was among the fragmented.

When the Islamist Fundamentalist in the Taliban and al Queda say "that they can't lose because 'Allah is with them'" and then one by one their leaders are killed off and they lose every battle and the country itself, when does one of these genius' connect the dots and say "Hey boys, it looks like Allah is with Uncle Sam and we ARE the EVIL DOERS.?"

yeah, laurie made a point of saying they didn't have it pinned down, but it was stronger than the earlier report. unfortunately, we're in the fox rerun hours, and the newsbites at top and bottom are singularly devoid of breaking news -- the guy in charge of them during this period holds the view that without pictures a story didn't take place. which is fine much of the time, but not when we're fighting a war in an 8.5-hours later timezone.

I've been surfing the news and haven't found any confirmation....in fact nobody else besides FOX seems to have even reported on it.
FOX seemed pretty sure that at least several in the Al Qaeda leadership were taken out...

CNN has just reported that she was seen jogging in the area and stopped at Starbucks in the vicinity of the buildings that have been bombed. (Great jogging trails in Afghanistan - none of that asphalt and concrete stuff you've got to put up with in this country.) See next month's issue of TALK magazine for more details on Chelsea's story.
