GARDEN GROVE -- Mark Rosen was fuming after waiting in line for the Harry Potter movie, but he wasn't angry about the long wait.
It was the smokers puffing away around children that upset the Garden Grove councilman. Rosen plans to propose a local law at tonight's council meeting that would ban smoking in movie lines, parks and fast-food playgrounds.

No he doesn't. Yes, he's a smoking Nazi, but he's also a money grubbing political hack who is more addicted to tobacco taxes than a 3-pack a day smoker is to nicotine.
Typical anti-smoker control freak who expects his statements to not be taken out of context and his questions answered directly - but sees no need to extend the same courtesy to those who disagree.
The nasty anti-smoker that uses that reagrding smokers is just as evil as the Nazis who originated it.
LOL!!!! I'll be honest with you - I haven't read any of the books and what little I know about it have come from news stories here and on TV.
That's EXACTLY why I oppose smoking! I don't give a crap about whether or not it's dangerous, I just object to you fouling my air. I wouldn't go around peeling off rank farts in public, why do smokers think nothing of doing virtually the same thing?
My right to swing my fist ends where your nose begins. Same goes for your right to smoke. (And I'm an occasional cigar smoker.)
Most smokers are considerate of others? Really? Is that why virtually all of them toss their cigarettes out the windows of their cars rather than putting them out in the ashtray? Ever take a close look at how many millions of cigarette butts line the streets and sidewalks?
That's why I contend that car ashtrays are the most useless invention ever: non-smokers don't need them, and smokers don't use them.
Do you have any statistics to back up your "virtually all" statement? Or are you just making a clouded observation based on your personal dislike for smokers. Without any facts to back it up, your observation is merely propoganda.
Your problem is obvious!
(Don't forget -- lying's a sin.)
Sure, why not? I have thrown a few butts out on the road in my time. So, since we are being so honest, tell me have you ever littered?
Let's add fast food wrappers, beer bottles, caps, cans, garbage of all types on your survey. Don't forget the disposable diapers, candy wrappers, and gum wrappers as well. By your logic, "virtually anyone" who eats or drinks while driving tosses the garbage out the window.
All you non-smokers who never flicked a booger out a car window, reply to this post.
So not in memory, I haven't. I consider littering, like smoking and other public rudeness, beneath the dignity of a civilized man. In fact my sons would tell you that wherever I go, I make a point of picking up other people's litter. I ALWAYS leave a place cleaner than when I found it.
But I draw the line at cigarette butts -- they're too disgusting to touch.
Does puking count? I did that once or twice in high school, but that was involuntary.
But thanks for proving my point: smokers are by and large un-civilized jerks who go about fouling other people's air and environment.
You nico-nazis are all the same, never want to be confused with facts, logic, or reason. There is only one choice in your skewed little minds, and that is that everyone should conform to your way of thinking. Thank God I'm independent minded and have never practiced discrimination or racism. It is an ugly characteristic that lies within those like you who have stumbled on a new group to hate, the "smoker."
