CNBC "Hardball" host and Democratic Party insider Chris Matthews said Saturday that New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton can't wait to become president of ther United States.
"She's dyin' for it," Matthews told NBC's Tim Russert, on Russert's own weekend CNBC interview show.
RUSSERT: What about your fellow Goldwater groupie Hillary Clinton?
MATTHEWS: Ah, you know, you're a New Yorker, a New York stater - um - Hillary is dyin' for it. But she's also miserable right now because of all this patriotic stuff going on - she can't stand it.
Matthews recalled an incident where Mrs. Clinton seemed reluctant to pledge allegiance to the American flag.
"I remember Hillary - I'll tell you this about Hillary," Matthews told Russert. "She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.'
"What, are we on probabtion?,' Matthews exclaimed.
"When is she gonna lighten up about this sort of thing," the CNBC host added. "This is a great place instead of her constant complaining."

I saw the show too. Isn't this something ?

I hate her guts, but she has media support, women's support, academic support, and has the best advisors in existence. There is no other political figure on the horizon to oppose her other than Bush.

I'd advocate seceding from the Union before I'd let that pass uncontested.

For sure! I am going to buy Matthew's book just because anyone (particularly a Democrat) who gets on TV and calls it right about the Clinton's deserve my support!

anybody who thinks Hillary can't make it into the White House is kidding themselves. You're right. Never underestimate a person who has sold his/her soul to the devil.

Do you really believe that? I don't! I am a woman and I sure as heck don't support her! And the women I know who supported Clinton (heaven forbid!) would never do it again, and certainly would not support Hitlery! The thought makes me ill. I think Chris Matthews is right...she can't make it in this climate. You must have heard all of those people booing her in NY. Damn! If she were elected into anything again I would just have to give up. You know, there is one woman who I bet she would never win against....Condi Rice!

Excerpted from
Hillary Clinton and the Radical Left
.The intoxicating vision of a social redemption achieved by Them-this is what creates the left, and makes the believers so self-righteous.
And it did so long before Karl Marx. It is the vision of this redemption that continues to inspire and animate them despite the still-fresh ruins of their Communist dreams.
It is this same idea that is found in the Social Gospel which impressed the youthful Hillary Clinton at the United Methodist Church in Park Ridge, Illinois. She later encountered the same idea in the New Left at Yale and in the Venceremos Brigade in Communist Cuba, and in the writings of the New Leftist who introduced her to the "politics of meaning" even after she had become America's First Lady. It is the idea that drives her comrades in the Children's Defense Fund, the National Organization for Women, the Al Sharpton House of Justice and the other progressive causes which for that reason still look to her as a political leader.
For these self-appointed social redeemers, the goal-"social justice"-is not about rectifying particular injustices, which would be practical and modest, and therefore conservative. Their crusade is about rectifying injustice in the very order of things. "Social Justice" for them is about a world reborn, a world in which prejudice and violence are absent, in which everyone is equal and equally advantaged and without fundamentally conflicting desires. It is a world that could only come into being through a re-structuring of human nature and of society itself. [End Excerpt]-David Horowitz, Autor.

Besides, shooting her won't work. You would need to follow her surrepticiously through the night, then drive a stake through her heart at dawn when the sun is just coming up.

Well, he did say what we both heard him say; however , I bet he'd vote for her. That is the problem with Chris.
To: RLK
I have noticed a tendency for her to avoid sunlight now that you mention it. LOL

I don't believe it. I know it. You are but one of millions of women in this country. If one woman in 50 additionally votes for Hillary because she's a woman, she wins. Hillary hasn't missed a step yet. She's running the shrewest campaign I've ever seen. It reminds me very much of the Jack and Bobby Kennedy campaigns, with improvements. I don't like it, but that's the way it is.

Sorry Hillary but you were already President for two terms.
To: mystomachisturning
Condi Rice has little backing anywhere. As in the case with Clarence Thomas and Colin Powell, Blacks hate her guts. She gets no all-important media support.
