Sorry, im not buying this. Just because they found documents talking about an Oklahoma City style bomb doesnt mean they had anything to do with it. It was simply material showing how to make such a bomb, they were probably impressed with it.

Why don't You ask FEDSCUM "_Jim" or what ever handle he is using these days on the FR, since he is the know all - tell all on OKC ?

But how did they know what the bomb was made of with exact chemical formula that does not even match Mc Veigh's bomb?

It's a good lead IMHO.

Most of them were notebooks from students. One gave a detailed description of various ways to make nitroglycerin, dynamite and fertilizer bombs. A note next to one of the explosive formulas said, ‘the type used in Oklahoma.’"

Thanks for pointing out this important information. A very strong case has been made on FR and elsewhere that there was a Middle Eastern/ Muslim terrorist connection with the OKC bombing and this further supports the case.

It is easy for me to comprehend why a corrupt Clinton Administration would chose not to prosecute all the responsible parties for the OKC bombing. What I am finding it difficult to assimilate into the general understanding of how our society functions is the fact that our "free press" has completely ignored the overwhelming evidence of the Middle Eastern/Muslim terrorist connection to the OKC bombing. There is simply no rational explanation for a "free press" to ignore the evidence concerning the OKC bombing. Therefore, I must conclude that the "free press" is behaving in an irrational manner or the "free press" is not free. Either conclusion challenges our general understanding of how our society functions.

Chilling, isn't it?

Irresponsible rumor mongering like the hijack/jumpseat one make it very tough on airline employees trying to work.

As soon as the cockpit voice recorders from the Pentagon and Pennsylvania crash were recovered and played, the FAA put a system wide halt on jumpseating. I would recommend we all put safety and security ahead of personal convenience. Your "irresponsible rumor mongering" remark is irresponsible. Most people, including pilots, actually live in the same geographic location where they work and consider it a condition of employment. I am certain you are not suggesting that your choice of not living in the city where you are employed is more important than the security of your passengers, but that is how you sound here.

but I felt compelled to point out facts which I discovered though documented sources which seemed a bit odd to me.

Don't abandon the jumpseat theory. There is a significant amount of evidence that supports it.

"W's basic premise I presume is: "You can't handle the truth" America. I disagree with that but I see no progress in the right direction from this administration. And I mean NO progress. The Clinton administration is being protected "for the good of the country". What a joke."

Ashcroft and company are not protecting the Clintons for the good of the country! They are protecting GW and his daddy. The Clintons have the goods on all of them. If Bush lets Clinton go down......then the Bushes go down. That is just how things work in these people strange little worlds....

The building debris is still buried in a pit on federal land. It can be dug up and analyzed. It should be noted that one victim's bodybag contained a shred of a dynamite wrapper.

Actually, I'm not abandoning the theory. I just think I should keep more of an open mind. For now. ;-)

The inspector general of the Justice Department said in his report on the FBI Crime Laboratory that the FBI analysis of the Oklahoma City case "merits special censure" because conclusions about an ANFO bomb were "incomplete," "inappropriate," "flawed," and nonscientific.

Bump.

Department of Justice Inspector General Report on OKC Bombing and FBI Lab

The short story is: the FBI Lab personnel lied about ANFO.

For anyone who wants the long story, see the link above.
