Vanity: Newborn FReeper Needs Your Prayers

Dear Fellow Freepers:

Please forgive this vanity, but I'm asking our many prayer warriors for their much needed assistance.

On Monday, November 19, my placenta ruptured and I underwent an emergency c-section to save my baby girl, Skylar. The folks at Baylor did a fabulous job of rescuing us both, but Skylar has since been transferred to a Special Care unit at another hospital and will probably remain there for many weeks to come. Despite being nearly 5 lbs. and 18" long, she's only 33 weeks old and still underdeveloped in many ways.

Could you please include her in your prayers? My husband and I feel particularly helpless at this time, and are turning to the One True Source of Power for help.

Isaiah says (quoting God) "See I will never leave you or forsake you for I have carved you on the palm of my hand."
My grandfather was so small when he was born (3 pounds) that they had to carry him on a pillow. He died at age 88. Hang in there. God is good.

Lord, please strengthen and heal Skylar and her family, and guide the doctors in her treatment.

Dear Lord,
Protect this wee little child, in your arms and make Skylar well, and strong. Put your arms around the parents too so they can feel your love with them and strength.

Please make Skylar be ok and healthy. Skylar just needs a chance to grow up and live a happy life.

Thank you Lord for so many answered prayers and so much love for us. This precious little one, Skylar needs your touch now .
