I'm Chris Knight And I'm Here To Rescue You!
Tue, Nov 20, 01 07:00:00 PM EST
And now, a special message from one of TheForce.net staff:
Dear Lisa,
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
When my belief was broken, He sent you... and you taught me anew the joy of a childlike faith.
When hope seemed shattered, you gave me a smile... and the light in your eyes spurred me on to go the distance.
When I debated whether there really could be such a thing as pure love in this world, you came into my life... and the matter was forever settled in my heart.
You've taught me how to live again, to enjoy this sacred gift to its fullest. And now, more than anything else, I would choose to share this gift with you.
We have been served by Christ as His bride. And I thank Him that of all the guys in this world, I might serve Him together with you... and serve you as my own precious bride.
-- Chris
UPDATE
It gives us great pleasure to announce officially that Lisa accepted the proposal just moments ago and they are as of this moment now engaged. Congrats from all of us at TFN and may the Force be with you!
OK, OK, I'm over it now (I think).
Congrats to Darth Sidious! YOU DA MAN!!!

Well, there I go, breaking traditions again :)
To the bride, one says....best wishes.
Indeed. Among other things :)
I bet your wife does not own a good set of pearls and a deviled egg dish, either.
Actually, she DOES have a good set of pearls, kept right next to her full length black mink. True story. She lived a little higher on the food chain prior to yours truly.
Dunno about the deviled egg dish, though - her family all told me she couldn't cook before we were married. Surprise was on all of us - she's a DELIGHTFUL cook, especially Korean dishes :)))
I still have the picture you sent me of her when you first "knew." I can't tell you how joyful this news makes me. I am sure the two of you will have a wonderful life because you've begun it the right way, and I know you'll live it the right way, too. May God continue to bless you and your bride to be -- again and again.
Congratutlations!!
Archive the thread for the grandchildren....your kids will see the next century God willing....meet back here on November 20th 2101....enjoy
the infowarrior
I'd feel like a voyeur.
Not goin' there, nope.
I have enough aggravation.
LOL!!
