Yesterday I read an account of the arrest of 11 terrorists in Spain. The leader was a Spaniard who had formerly been a minor player for HB (political wing of the terrorist group ETA) and was a convert, and another was a man named Ian Frost, not a traditional Muslim name. So let's go ahead and give them a place to broadcast their ugly (but obviously, very attractive to dissatisfied weaklings) religion of hatred, violence and death.

I hope he knows what he's doing. Does he really see no distinction between Islam and Christianity?

I suspect he sees the distinction, and remembers a principle our country was founded on: freedom of religious conscience.

What we must do is go nuclear and eliminate them all. Most Muslims want to be martyred and since they are lazy all they do is breed 15 kids a family. The doubling of their populations are every twenty years. Where will they get the food, water and other necessities to accommodate these populations when their leaders are as corrrupt as the Koran. There leaders (mullahs) will tell them that the jihad against the infidel will have to begin and they will march for allah on their neighbors. We must kill them all. There kids of today will become tomorrows terrorist. From what I see most Muslim parents are happy when their kid dies for Allah. I guess next kids in schools will have to read the koran.

Muslims died on 9-11 too - AMERICAN Muslims killed by Bin Laden and the Al Quaeda. Amazing, all this griping about someone praying in the White House according to the rights granted in the First Amendment - I guess we better rewrite that so only certain religions can be practiced in the U.S.

Muslims believe right now that they are fighting a holy war. Islam is like a cancer that keeps growing. Like fighting cancer we search for a cure, since I dont believe anyone will be able to come up with one for Islam, nuclear weapons will be the cure. When you talk about the world what do you mean. The Europeans are a bunch of whiny elitist socialisdts who would be speaking german today if not for us. I believe many French did not mind suffering under the nazis. I believe India and russia would stanmd with us, how many countries do you need. Personally, I dont consider the UN a body of countries, its a body of America haters. We must if necessary stand alone. I am an American and dont care if the French, Germans or whomever else are not with us.

It's all theater. What's important is to keep bombing and go after the terrorists. ALL the terrorists, which Bush (and Ashcroft more importantly) is doing, over there and over here.

I agree. This is all simply window dressing to underline the fact that this is a war against terrorism and not against Islam.

Bush has done a brilliant job in exploiting divisions within the Muslim community for the purpose of isolating the fanatics...specifically the Taliban, Bin Laden, Al-Qaida etc.

What real harm can come from this gesture? None that I can see. It costs Bush nothing and can bring great benifits in minimizing the resistance we get in this war against Islamic militant extremists.
