From long talks to long walks, from cutting nuclear arsenals to chopping cedar, from limousines to "Gators", the U.S.-Russia summit goes casual and gets personal as it moves to President Bush's ranch.

President Bush made a statement late this evening regarding the rescue of the eight humanitarian workers in Afghanistan. Bush said that the rescue was coordinated with the Afghanis and local Red Cross officials. The eight workers are now safe in Pakistan. Wnjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Oh, I like this one. I was happy to get my Rummy fix in early today when Fox and Friends carried his ground zero appearance this morning. BTW, the Friends have reclaimed the top am cable spot from Ms. Zahn. WTG!

And poor Mrs. Putin ... I'm singing, " Sam,you made the pants too long." lol .... What a great First Couple we have .. and I, too, feel so positively about the charisma and strength of character Dubya possesses and believe it will turn Putin into a very strong ally. Imagine the fun Putin will have driving that HUGE pickup around the ranch and tappin' his toes to country music. God Bless Them All and God Bless America! Hope they release more pictures.

Anyone know if that slope at the driver's window is standard on that truck? I've never noticed it on other F250's.

And what about George P? He must be getting ready for his dad's re-election campaign here in Fla. He's very easy on the eyes. When P was a boy, he was very awkward looking and his hair stuck out much like Poppy's and his dad has wavy hair too. Talk about ugly duckling turning into a swan.

I am enjoying this thread tonight. I think we are all relieved about the workers being rescued and though the USA isn't done yet, we can enjoy ourselves a bit.

I saw part of Michael Jackson last night and I think his nose is getting shorter. Any thoughts, people?

Catfish is a GREAT National Dish, and one which we should be proud of. Were it not for the availability catfish, a lot of our country, especially the east coast, would never have supported the survival of our early colonial and post-colonial families. Any collared greens on that menu? Got to go back and check. I'm getting hungry!

Probably need some elderberry wine right about now, too.

I am so jealous of the F-250 Quad Cab - I've only got a Ranger - maybe he should give Putin one for agreement to drop the ABM treaty. I think he would do it (Putin) in a NY minute.

Yes, the slope is standard, but only on the Super Duty, not on the SuperCrew.

Thanks for another fabulous dose. I was watching Babs Walters on Larry tonite- I know,I know - but anyway she was saying (I'm paraphrasing) that she thought the American people felt secure with President Bush as their President. Hello ??? Oh really Babs?? I almost fell out of my chair. Of course Larry right away said well what about the anthrax and the postal workers etc. He's such a ditz. It's only taken them more than a year to figure out what we've known all along. "Go ahead, thank ME. I voted for President George W. Bush." :-) :-)
