Here is the previous thread: BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN is recorded
THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN was recorded on Thursday and we are ready to ship CDs to radio stations. One of the big problems, however, is that some places may have trouble accepting mail because of the anthrax scare. Also, some may just ashcan the thing.
Vetnet and I are particularly interested in getting a copy immediately into the hands of Don Imus and Sean Hannity. Can anyone in New York deliver a copy to each of them for us? How about Rush?
In many cities, we may need your help to get them to people like Don and Roma in Chicago, Michael Medved in Seattle, Neil Boortz in Atlanta, Michael Savage in San Francisco, Mike Barnicle in Boston, etc.
Who can be of help in any of those cities?

Bob Miller of KEX in Portland, OR would play the song in a heartbeat. Don't know him personally, but I could make sure it gets in his hands withing 24 hours.

KEX carries Rush.

Thanks. Send me FReepmail with your address.
We are particularly looking for national shows and then expect the others to be asking for a CD.

Jim Quinn (Irish, of course) of WRRK FM in Pittsburgh would play it in a heartbeat. He's on the internet at www.warroom.com (live streaming M-F 530 am - 900 am, and archived as well). He really enjoyed royalIA's speech and featured it extensively on his show.
I also just sent you a freepmail re the Washington, DC and statewide WV market. I personally know the conservative decision makers that would put it on immediately.

Send me a freep mail, or even better you will find my e-mail in my profile page. I can probably get it to Sean Hannity via Steve Malzberg. I may even make a trek into the city and hand deliver it. I know James Golden who used to be Bo Snerdly and used to produce Rush's show, He's in Maryland right now but I can give him a call and he can get it to Rush pronto.

Thanks. We'll get a few copies right out to you.
To: Cacique
How many copies do you need for WABC?
To: doug from upland
Okay, who is in Chicago? Don and Roma need this. I think Don was once a record producer. He actually did a few of my songs on the air after seeing them on FR.
To: Cacique
Thanks for the help. The copies will be on the way.
To: Vetnet
YIPPEEEEEEEE. I just talked to Mike Barnicle on the phone and played it for him. He's waiting for his copy.

You have freep-mail.
To: noexcuses
Excellent. Thanks to noexcuses, we have Michael Medved covered in Seattle. Still waiting to hear from Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Chicago. What's going on in Houston or Dallas or Florida?
Do we dare ask someone to deliver one to Art Bell?
