Today while scanning the web for news stories I found a press release about Nancy Oden who is a U.S. Green Party official and coordinating committee member. She was stopped in Bangor Maine airport from boarding a plane to a convention in Chicago. The National Guard who stopped her told the airlines there she was not to board any flight anywhere.
I thought of that story about the terrorist Mohammed Atta and the trip to Maine? Then we had the report of terrorist in Maine. Come to find out there are 2 Green Parties in Maine and Nancy here is a little out in left field and at odds with the others in Maine. Why? Hummm...
There needs to be a complete looking into of this Green Party in Maine and Nancy Oden. She has said some wacked out stuff the last few days and most against the United States of America. I know because I talked to her for over 1 hour today. She released a press release asking people to call her so she could get her story out to the world. I decided to call and there she was on the other end of the phone. I then started a thread here with what she was saying and it is a eye opener.
Here are 2 from my interview well (rant) with her

Tonight I have been checking all over the web and I am finding other interviews she has done with other reporters and it is as bad as mine was in the things she is saying. This is from the Wartime liberty and she says
I feel that this women and I use that word nice is a threat to our national security and needs more looking into. The Maine terrorist connection might be the real thing and this Oden might have some connection?
Her talk in Chicago was to do with BIOweapons. This from a press release the Green Party put out.

Just and Positive Alternatives: Green Party USA Statement on the Disasters
All good people abhor the death and destruction of this past week. People of the world want peace. But they also want justice.
Looking past today, we need to learn how to stop terrorism, how to break the cycle of hatred and revenge. We need to come up with JUST AND POSITIVE ALTERNATIVES.
Clearly, the way countries now deal with one another isn't working. The world needs leaders who will set good examples for Earth's peoples.
Can we not be grown-ups and use this latest Disaster as a starting point for working together towards peace? There is no security in revenge, only a continuous escalation of killing once the hatreds are solidified.
What can we do so people do NOT feel they have to attack others?
WHAT DO PEOPLE IN THE THIRD WORLD WANT FROM THE UNITED STATES?
Stop interfering. If American-based corporations choose to take risks by attempting to steal another country's natural resources, do not support these corporations with American military or in any way. In fact, corporations should be actively discouraged from taking advantage of poor regions of the world, including in the U.S.A. Stop U.S. military incursions and blockades of needed food and other goods anywhere in the world. These anti-human acts, being engaged in by U.S. military every day, kill many civilians and engender permanent hatreds towards Americans. Stop selling arms to the world, which enables many, who would not otherwise have the means, to attack and kill others.
Bring all American troops home from all over the world. We do not need far-flung bases whose only purpose is to protect U.S. businesses. Let U.S. corporations, so busy using up Earth's resources and beggaring Earth's life forms, protect themselves. "Defense" should mean only that; defending ourselves when necessary against harm. Stop the manufacture and sale of most pesticides and industrial toxic chemicals; especially stop shipping hazardous chemical wastes to Third World nations. Have full public disclosure and debate before the creation and/or use of any toxic chemical, with citizens wherever there might be exposure having the right to make these decisions. After we've stopped the military and toxic incursions into people's lives, then begin working on how to share and help one another. Each country is bound to have expertise or goods that others need or want.
Share whatever we can in emergencies, and work out FAIR TRADE among nations so that no one is cheated and no country's people are enslaved or, despite working long hours, kept in extreme poverty. Send helpers to all corners of the Earth to: --bring health care, which should be available to all no matter their monetary situation; --clean up environmental messes and assure clean water supplies for all; --encourage people everywhere to live lightly on Earth, not buying or consuming goods they do not need, so as to leave some resources for the future; --assist in growing food crops suitable for each climate. Ensure control by the people of that region over what's planted to assure their needs are met. --build/rebuild houses and necessary social structures (schools, hospitals), especially where the U.S. military has done them harm; --work to relieve suffering of all kinds, wherever it may be. The U.S. has a lot to answer for to many peoples of Earth.
Only by helping others and encouraging other countries to do the same, and by working to undo the harm U.S. corporations and military have done, can we hope to achieve peace, cooperation, and genuine democracy amongst human beings on this Earth. STATEMENT OF THE U.S. Green Party September 13, 2001 On the Terrorist Attacks On America
September 13, 2001 For Immediate Release
NEW YORK CITY HAS LOST ITS TWO FRONT TEETH GREEN PARTY CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACKS AND ANTI-ARAB, PRO-WAR HYSTERIA
Last Tuesday, some bully socked New York in the jaw knocking out its two front teeth, causing misery and death to large numbers of innocent people.
It can't happen here ... but it has.
The calls for revenge, for "swift" retaliation, will grow in the days ahead as the innocent victims are buried.
The Green Party USA of course condemns this attack. Greens in New York City have joined thousands of others in organizing blood donations, carrying supplies, and digging through the rubble of what had been the twin towers of the World Trade Center to help save as many lives as we can.
But we will not join in calls for military retaliation, which will only ratchet-up the misery and death toll, both abroad and here at home as waves of anger and despair will flood against our shores in the form of new attacks.
Instead, the Green Party has been active in helping to counter the racist anti-Moslem and anti-Arab hysteria that has led to mindless attacks against Arab and dark-skinned Asian people in New York City and across the country. We are asking our members to be vigilant, to protect our brothers and sisters from other countries and to speak out against racism and anti-Semitism wherever it stirs.
One activist reported how she and her friends intervened in one such situation: "We were coming back from assisting the rescue teams when we ran into a guy who was spray-painting 'F**k Islam'. After a few stern words, and a talk about the Moslems who surely were in the World Trade Center when the planes hit, he helped us spray paint over his racist tag."
"It is NEVER valid, nor revolutionary, to target civilians, whatever the cause," said Maris Abelson, a member of both the New York Greens and national Green Party coordinating committees who lives in Manhattan. "The Green Party reminds everyone that in the Islamic faith all life sacred, and the taking of childrens' lives and harming of non-combatants is specifically prohibited. The only positive things to have come out of this is the selfless spirit of New Yorkers and the cancellation of a planned execution in the state of Texas," Abelson said.
In addition to addressing human suffering, the Green Party joins with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in urging New Yorkers to also care for the hundreds of animals trapped in nearby buildings that have been evacuated.
The Green Party is also strongly opposed to the military strikes that the US government is threatening against other countries accused of "harboring terrorists." Mitchel Cohen, a media coordinator for the Green Party USA and a participant on its international committee, said: "These sorts of retaliatory measures have repeatedly led to hundreds and sometimes thousands of innocent people being killed, just as they were at the World Trade Center. The government, however, just shrugs it off as 'collateral damage,' same as the terrorists do."
Cohen quoted former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright who, when asked whether she had any thoughts concerning the 750,000 children who have died in Iraq from U.S. cluster bombs, landmines, malnutrition and poisoned drinking water caused by the ongoing missile strikes and sanctions, Albright muttered: "I think the price is worth it."
"What makes us different from those whose actions we condemn?" Cohen asked, citing US air strikes ordered by President Ronald Reagan against Libyan President Moammar Qadaffi's family tent in Libya in the mid-1980s. (In that air strike, Qadaffi's 8-month old baby daughter was blown to pieces by a US missile.) "The attacks against the World Trade Center are profoundly related to the suffering that the US government and multinational corporations inflict on the rest of the world every day. As Malcolm X put it: "The chickens are coming home to roost." The death and destruction at the World Trade Center in New York is horrible enough without the US government compounding it by responding in kind," Cohen said.

Well, Nancy, you better go remind bin Laden, but don't get kilt.
All the news media lurkers out there. This will become a big story about this women and the Green Party. Step up now and start to check it out. Even the demoRats see a connection between her and the terrorist. Here is her phone number as of today she was still answering. Can't say for how much longer.
"Nancy Oden, member of RAGE (Northeast Resistance Against Genetic Engineering). xx http://www.plant.uoguelph.ca/riskcomm/archives/agnet/1999/8-1999/ag-08-22-99-01.txt Environmental activist Nancy Oden of Jonesboro said Thursday that while she did not destroy the plants, she commended those who did. "I'm glad they did it,'' Oden said during an interview at the Bangor Daily News offices. "It may not have been legal, but it was the moral thing to do.''
Oden, who was scheduled to meet with Jemison and Rebar on Thursday morning, said that she had planned to bend a few ears of corn down as a "nonviolent protest'' during the meeting, but did not know who was responsible for the late-night destruction.
xxx In an Aug. 16 e-mail sent to other activists and also sent to the NEWS, Oden gave explicit directions to the location of the cornfield and advised activists to wear "a mask to avoid the toxic pollen, and gloves to avoid toxins throughout the plant'' if they had physical contact with the plants. Oden said Thursday that the e-mail was not meant to incite destruction, only as information for environmentalists. cleanmaine@nemaine.com"
