CNN's Nic Robertson is reporting that Al Jazeera in Kabul received a letter from Usama bin Laden.

The letter states that the world has organized under two banners: the Christian banner headed by Bush, and the Islamic banner. The letter further states that Pakistan is now under the Christian banner.

Al Jazerra reporting that signature on letter appears to be bin Laden's

Keep your eyes peeled for undesirables (hey, you KNOW what that means) near Christian facilities.

If it goes the way it appears to be going, this will be a HOLY war after all.

Only now, we will acknowledge the fact of it.

Be prepared...

He probably believes it. Such is the thinking amongst people inculcated with religion & little else. That said, many if not most Pakistanis & Indians yearn for the English empire, when the courts worked & people actually paid taxes. Subliminally, this may backfire.

More "under banners" talk coming from the "man who would be Mahdi".

I really want to thank CNN for doing such fantastic work. They are so objective... THIS TIME. What a revelation! Bin Laden thinks there are two sides in this war? I am stunned. I am amazed. What a find. I bet Drudge would have eagerly scooped this one. /sarcasm.

What about the Kosovo War? You know, that war where we deliberately targeted civilians? Oh but they were Christians, so that is OK. Bomb public bridges during prime time traffic. Bomb radio stations. Bomb all manner of high-civilian areas. Yep. The media justified that war. It was a smashing success. Didn't lose a single soldier. And the entire war was based by a lie that the media never really did much to expose.

That's the first thing this nut-case has said that I might agree with.

This conflict is bigger than OBL. Christians CAN live with Muslims, the question is whether or not Muslims can live with Christians. I think I know the answer and it aint pretty.

By the way, celebrate and publically proclaim MERRY CHRISTMAS! to everyone you meet.

Do not fall into the P-C trap of Seasonal Celebration, or Season's Greetings.

Only MERRY CHRISTMAS! will do!

: the Christian banner headed by Bush, and the Islamic banner.

The war of good and evil.
According to OUR book, they lose.

To prove he's not with his 72 lucky virgins he needs to show his liver lips on a video, talking about something very specifically current.

Otherwise, Al Jazeera, we don't believe it!

I'll continue to wish my Christian friends a merry Christmas but will continue to not do likewise for my Jewish friends. Sorry if this offends you.

This is very insulting to the Jews.

Ya think? It's also very insulting to those Muslims in Pakistan. Not sure OBL is concerne about who he insults. heh.

Evil men, in every time and in every civilization, take the Symbols of Faith, Salvation and Promise and subvert them to their ends.

Communists always thought so. That is why they wanted worship of government. Christianity matured. That began when the Bible was made readable to the masses. And as for the 'theocracy' tripe about nazis, Nazi Germany was no theocracy. The Lutheran Church was not in control. A darwinian worshipper of genetic superiority science was in control. Nazis worshipped science and believed themselves to be the "Master Race".

Islam, however, starts butchering Christians when it controls a government. For example, the recent exodus of Serbs from the Holy Land of Kosovo. Or the Turks slaughtering over a million Armenian Christians. Or the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria. Or the slaughter and mass starving of Christians in Sudan while food rotted in the ware houses. Deliberate starving. And the desire of Islamics to push Jews back into the sea.

All Christians needed was a printing press. Islam can't even get its act together with internet access.

Coincident with the fall-off in religious practice in the formerly Christian west has been the upsurge in militant Islam, what some call "Muslim fundamentalism." The newly secular west may regard religion as passe and of no relevance to the modern technological world but Moslems regard it as vital. The spiritual sloth and malaise of apostate Christian countries has its exact converse in the fervor and passion of zealots like Bin Laden.

Throughout Biblical history, especially in the Old Testament, there are repeated examples of how God allowed his chosen Jewish people to be given into the hands of murdering, marauding nonbelievers, usually at times when they had forsaken the one, true God for some sort of apostasy or idolatry.

We are living through a modern equivalent. Bin Laden is right in one sense. This is between Christianity and Islam. But he has no idea that he is playing the role of the murderer. If we want to be rid of this scourge, we need to rediscover our faith, cease our Baal worship and wash the blood of millions of slaughtered unborn children off our hands.

Only then will God come to our aid.

the Christian banner headed by Bush, and the Islamic banner

What's the significance of OBL not saying HE is the head of the Islamic banner?

Here is Osama bin Laden and his black banner of Islam...

The flag reads: "There is no God but God and Mohammed is the messenger of God."
